Ive been buying a new Chromebook about every 12-months for the past 6 years. My current one is from Office Depot (renamed to Office Max) because I was fed up with the high pressure, rudeness, and dismissive sales staff at the B(ig) B(ox store). This turned out to be an excellent decision! The Office Max staff are really incredible; there is either a good hiring manager or a solid training program or the Hagerstown store is an oasis. Im an elderly woman, and used to being ignored, pressured to purchase a more expensive computer, "helped" by an inattentive salespersons, and scorned for asking stupid questions. That n-e-v-e-r happened at Office Max. My Samsung lasted only 6-months before the power cord quit making a connection to the computer, so I was in the store 3 times: 1. purchase, 2. return, 3. return the computer when Samsung declined to honor the 12-month warranty and sent it back to me. This isnt the forum to rant about Samsung, but the Office Max staff had my back throughout the whole 3-4 week process. To add icing on the cake they gave me full credit for the Samsung return plus a nice discount when I bought a Dell Chromebook. I really appreciate Office Max going above and beyond.

Like someone else said. They went above and beyond, particularly the young black guy, black shirt. Sorry forgot his name but hes a manager. I, a truck driver, was looking for a new printer/fax/copy/scan for my truck so I can handle all of my paperwork faster and in turn get paid quicker. I asked him if he could spare some time answering questions. He answered all my questions, gave some really great suggestions and recommendations and so far I have not tried it yet, but I got one similar to this and was pleased with it as well. Very friendly. Also had to ship a package. The beautiful girl at the shipping side (tattoo on wrist, was a new girl from what I heard) was very polite, worked quick even though she was new and took care of everything. Kinda wished shed smiled though, Im sure it wouldve been beautiful as she. None the less, the staff here was all friendly, quick and great in their field. Store nicely laid out so everything can be found. Hardly any lines with 3 people working the whole store. Props to you. I only wish WALMART could handle customers like you did when THEY got 6 lines open

I truly appreciate their service. Especially Tricia on the print section, she went above and beyond to make our experience a positive one. She took the time to make my wedding invitations PERFECT. She didnt quit until we were completely satisfied with it. She is definitely a great representative of you company...kudos!

This place excellent. The people here are just beyond splendid. A man there named Josh was very helpful with getting me a laptop and I was also able to snag a great deal on a protection plan. OfficeMax on Garland Groh Blvd is definitely my place to go from now on for the most high quality supplies.

Prices are above competitor prices and they dont match Amazon pricing because of shipping--even if there is no shipping fee. Ive also encountered pushy salesman when browsing laptops.
