I usually dont write bad reviews on anything, but I was disappointed today, and I only want to help so that this can hopefully improve. I ordered 2 pick-twos, both with the exact same sandwich (now I was a little complicated because I asked for the sandwich to be customized - BUT that option is available online so why not in store?) I asked for NO tomato or onion, and to ADD avacado & bacon (both of which cost extra, which I accepted). Not only was one of the meals side wrong, but both sandwiches still had tomato and onion, AND neither of them had bacon - again, which I paid extra for (it was all correct on my receipt so the woman at the register put the order in correctly). Normally this wouldnt bother me so much, but it didnt help that I heard one of the expo employees specifically say "these 2 need avacado and bacon added" - and on top of that, the employees were complaining about having a big to go order or something to take care of while also being busy and not having enough help. As a result, once I saw the tickets start rolling in, they started rushing and throwing things in bags and on plates sloppily. I understand you cant anticipate business or to go orders, but I hate to see people rush through the details and lower the quality, especially with things that customers are paying extra for.

The Manger was extremely rude and not able to accept a professional feed back. I was using Panera for all of my meetings across P.A. and MD, until I met dear Gary Plummer. He refused to honor a $30 off coupon on my $180 order. So in fact let $150 go for his ego and a $30 coupn. I wish Mr Plummer well in life. However treating people kindly, is not an option in the customer service industry. Panera Hagerstown has lost my business on future Carering needs. So sad that the Amazing professional young lady, Ronnie has to work under such poor leadership. Great food, terrible service every time, From a team member to manager they are all on the same page of ignoring customer requests at least mine every time. They never have 4 cheese soufflé. I tried 7 in the morning till 9am. Manager excuse was to call ahead, tried that and the answer was sorry when I got there. This place dread making a bagel pack every single Sunday as if no one checks their online order screen or they just decide to ignore it if it needs more than one item. I wish they open another Panera bread maybe near valley mall in Hagerstown. I will never go to this place.

I used to go here quite often. The staff was always pleasant and the dining area clean. I recently switched to a whole foods plant based diet. Due to food allergies, there is very little on the Panera menu I can justify paying their price point for. I do enjoy their bagels, but they dont have a vegan option for spreads. :( They do have many salads, but many have nuts or meat as the protein. Sure, I can ask without, but their arent alternative options for substitution.

The service here is very personal. I dont go that often but I see the same people here almost every time I go and they are greeted by name, in a friendly manner. For being a franchise type establishment Im quite impressed to observe this level of customer service. They also remember the orders of the regulars. Just goes to show that its people and good principles that make the difference, not just the fact that something is a mom-n-pop shop.

Cashiers are kind of disorganized, 3 standing around while 1 was ringing up everyone in the whole line of people. While waiting for food to come up got to listen to the person dishing out the soups and calling out the order numbers asking if she can leave early so she can go to the er. Not sure what exactly was wrong, was kind of scared to ask! Food was good as usual though and ready pretty fast.

Food is so fresh and delicious. This is a very high volume restaurant but yet very clean. Staff is friendly even if you like to make your order complicated. No matter what you order to drink it will be made correctly or will taste delicious if its coffee or tea that has already been made. I always enjoy lunch here and looks forward to returning.

Normally visit this location but not so much anymore. Service has changed and not so friendly staff. CANT make a Latte it was a Milk shake. I wasnt bringing all the boys to the yard. Just wanted a Latte. Yes I know take it back and fix it. When you pick up a to go order. AINT NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THAT.

This is the biggest Panera Ive ever been in. Most of my previous stops are half this size. I was worried about the wait time as the parking lot was full in the middle of the lunch hour, but the service was very quick and the food of course was great.

Good food and fairly quick, however the pricing is very hard to get over. 2 Pick 2 meals with no drink cost $22. That comes out to $11 for a full sandwich (2 halves) and $11 for soup. Not sure how it cost that much unless I am ordering incorrectly.

Fantastic breads to carry out, sliced or whole. As far as eating in, food is decent, great sandwiches. A bit crowded and elbow bumping due to the long narrow layout. Staff frequently seems aloof or rushed and annoyed if you ask anything.

Decent wifi but very busy. Even in the mornings there are at least half a dozen people scattered throughout the store. Quick cashiers generally make up for the long line. No drive through.

Good, fresh, healthy food. Calories and basic nutrition is clearly posted. Takes approx. 8-10 minutes to get your food. A little more expensive than fast food, but its way better food!

Very dissiapointed...went for coffee. And a snack my cashier didnt ask for her or to go..and put my drinks in paper cups...ruined the aatsmopher..to have to go outside
