This salon is located in the Wal-Mart Supercenter here in Hagerstown, MD. I have been a customer here off and on for the past few years. Recently I was introduced to SIMPLICITY Salon and spa by a friend. However, today I was looking shaggy so I decided to stop in while shopping. The stylist who called me back was very quiet, and seemed nervous. I told her that I wanted a professional look with a sense of style. The stylist was rude in tone, and attitude. When she was done, I noticed that my bangs where uneven and my side burns where off by a good 1/4 inch. She faded the right side, while blocking the left. I think she was going for an euro retro look. I asked her to even everything up for me, and she replied that it looked good. I asked once again, whith the same reply from her. I became very fustrated at this point, knowing my temper at times I decided to take afew to calm down in the store. I returned to the salon and recieved by a wonderful greating by a stylist named Gloria. I informed her that I was just in for a mens cut and that it appeared uneven. Gloria remembered seeing me earlier and noticed the hair cut that I had recieved from her coworker. (By this time my original stylist had gone home.) She sat me down and went to work without question. She was amazed that her coworker would let me walk out of her salon looking the way I did. Gloria spent the better part of a half hour fixing the euro funk that adorned my head. She made the experence somewhat pleasent. As I was checking out, Gloria informed me that she was not going to charge for the "repair job". KUDOS to Gloria for not allowing me to have a "bad hair day". I may not return to this salon because of my experience but I rated the salon "average" because of the customer service that was provided upon my return by the staff at this location. Please remember that customer service is important to me, the customer. Thank you for your time.

I took my 13 year old daughter here. I asked her to sign in, while I ran to Mcdonalds to grab my 2 toddlers Happy Meals to keep them quiet as my daughter got her hair cut. I was gone maybe 3 min and when I got back my daughter was already in the chair. I walked over and the woman was SHAVING the sides of her head. There was NOTHING I could say or do at that point to fix it. When I came back to pay, the woman looked at me and said $17.50. Which #1 she didnt cut any hair just shaved sides which took like 5 min at the most. #2 she saw I was very upset. I looked at my daughter and said "I cant believe u did that to ur hair" the woman spoke up and said "she said she was allowed to do it" umm NOO she wasnt allowed to get that done. Shes 13!! Since when do they allow children to just walk in, sign in and get whatever they want without a parent? I understand this isnt permenant like a tattoo but it upsets me. Thats going to take forever to grow out and by the time she goes back to school it will be half way grown out and horrible looking!! I am beyond upset, and will NEVER return here again EVER! I will also be posting this ALL over social media for all my friends and family to see as well!

Horrible experience. Woman took my name And number than I waited 5 minutes for her to drink some water. Literally, take sips out of a bottle of water. While my hair was being cut another girl came in to complain about hers, so my stylist rushed my cut to about 5 minutes. My hair was messed up, I had to straighten it with my own scissors at home. I left my sunglasses there(rayban) and called15 minutes after I got out of the chair and she grabbed them for me. When I went back to pick them up, she had lost them! Worst haircut and it cost me $16.50!!! I could have gone to a real salon at that price range. Never returning.
