Ive been going to Coldwater for years, but once I got pretty friendly with my stylist, she started complaining about her personal life to me, showing her attitude when she had a bad day and really started doing a bad job cutting my hair. My manicures started going down in quality and one day I had my brow wax done by someone else, because my usual stylist wasnt there and she literally waxed my brows completely off. Im still growing them back and am completely embarassed by my growing back hair and brows. The receptionist is ditzy. We get called all the time to move our appointment time. They have also started getting behind and we usually wait 15-20 minutes. Worst of all, the staff are very friendly with each other and laid back that they eat in front of clients, talk among themselves and stop working, the receptionist always interrupts with questions, they even make fun of other customers clothes, facial expressions, hair, etc. My mom has switched stylists twice and is never satisfied with her results. We purchased Christmas gifts that were pricey and never even received a thank you! The prices are the only reason we kept going back and giving them more chances. A few of the stylists are so fake with the niceness and with them poking fun at other customers, we wonder if they have made fun of us at some point. There has never been a real sense of professionalism and with the quality of work going down, we have decided to go to a more expensive, fancy salon to get the results and professionalism we want. I used to give them rave reviews, but their level of service and quality is just terrible for a spa now that I think 1 star is more than fair.

I went to Coldwater to have a fill done while my Nail Tech from another Salon was out on maternity. I was very disappointed in the service that I received by the Coldwater Nail Tech. I have been having my nails done/filled for well over 10 years and I could tell immediately that their nail tech was very inexperienced. I spoke to the owner Vickie about my disappointment a week after my fill because the nails were beginning to lift and she lied about overhearing a conversation that I had with the nail tech and that my fill was not guaranteed. $25 + $8 tip down the drain and in my opinion Coldwater Salon is a low end salon desperately trying to be a high end one. My advise to Vickie would be to make the clients satisfaction her #1 priority and when that is done, she will surely become a high end salon.

I love Coldwater Salon & Spa! I have been going there for 10 years now and I get my haircut and color done by Vicki, she is awesome, I love it every time I come home after I just want to got out and flaunt my hair. Never have an issue with her cutting my hair, she knows her stuff. She has styled my hair for my proms as well and I just loved them. I couldnt be happier with anyone else touching my hair. The staff there is just wonderful, sweet and professional. I never have an issue with rescheduling when something comes up. Its just a fun environment to be in. I never a want to go anywhere else!

I came here for the first time because my friend had given me a gift card. I was so impressed, not only did I have one of the best massages of my life everyone here was so friendly. I felt welcomed from the minute I walked through the door and even more so when I was introduced to Candy, my massage therapist. I will be coming back on a regular basis because of how amazing she was.

My husband got me a spa package certificate for Coldwater Salon & Day Spa a couple of years ago and I liked them so much that Ive been going ever since! Vicki does a fabulous job. I get my hair cut & colored, my brows done, nails, facials and Ive done their tanning in the past and Im very happy with everything! The salon has a very nice, comforting atmosphere, its perfect!

I came here for my hair for several months about a year ago. It was never a welcoming place and the staff was like a "cool kids club" - always joking around. I finally decided to leave after I had to come back because my color was spotty and the hair stylist seemed annoyed that I came back. I now go into the city to get my hair done, and I feel much more papered, there!

I absolutely loved the service I got here. I had an amazing gel manicure and then had my hair cut by Rachel who took so much time to ensure I loved my new style which was a huge change that I was making. The owner even took time to speak to me and make sure I was happy. I will recommend to everyone best place I have found in rochester.

I have been coming to Coldwater Salon & Day Spa every few weeks for years. Louisa is my stylist and she has provided me with perms, highlights, cuts, and styles. I even drive all of the way from buffalo because I love how wonderful they make my hair look.

There are a ton of spas in Rochester so finding one isnt the problem, but finding one with a great staff and reasonable packages is another thing. I never feel as though anyone is judging me and I dont have to pay an arm and a leg for a full spa day.

I went here for a mens haircut and I certainly have to say the atmosphere is great. Everyone is friendly and very welcoming. I also love my haircut, I walked out pleased. I would highly recommend this salon and spa to anyone, and I actually do.

Honestly I like everything about this salon! I have received may services from Vicki. I think Vicki does a fabulous job from haircut and color to brows, I even go tanning here as well. Everything is comfortable in the salon its perfect!
