I have had my daughter in Discover Learning Center for over a year now, shes been there since she was 12 weeks old and I absolutely love that she is there! She, and all of the other children there are always so happy and theyre always learning new and fun things. They continue learning activities that we practice at home to ensure our efforts are consistent. My daughter loves going to school there and is excited every morning when we pull up. She is so nurtured and loved as well. I have never worried about her while I was at work, and that peace of mind is priceless! Lastly, they have NEVER made the money more important than those children receiving the care they need. A lot of other centers that I visited were more concerned with the terms of the payment and I heard more about the money aspect of childcare than I did the care of my child. I would recommend Kathy and her staff at Discover Learning Center to anyone that wants their child to interact, have a great time, learn, and be nurtured and loved while youre at work.

It might be cheap, but you get what you pay for. The website boasts fostering development and nurturing, but the infants are basically left in a crib all day. When I come there they are never playing or interacting. They are all kept in a dark room in cribs or sleeping bouncers. There are no activities to enhance social, intellectual, and emotional development. One time when I showed up there was only 1 girl there caring for a room full of infants, while a room of preschool children was completely unattended. There are only 3 teachers for the entire center, and one of them doesnt even speak English, so she couldnt possibly be certified. The director, Cathy (she will never tell you her last name, probably because she is a fraud) comes off as frazzled if your child requires any care beyond eating and napping. I dont get the sense that this is a facility where children can truly flourish and grow, and needless to say my child will go elsewhere.

The owner is claiming the negative reviews are from an "unqualified trainee." Im actually the person she is referring to, and no Im not behind the other reviews. I wasnt an "unqualified trainee" as she claims. I was an experienced teacher with more credentials than the owner herself, and I CHOSE to leave because I did not want to be affiliated with the conditions there. An entire room full of infants (left to sleep all day, not play) was managed by 1 young girl while I managed the Pre-K by myself. When the other girl needed a break I was left to manage both at once. The rare instances when Kathy was present, she got physical with children who were acting... well, like children. This was not a happy, loving, caring, or stimulating atmosphere. I would not stay there, because I could not risk being liable and losing my career.

Have my child there for weeks and Im so happy. Every morning when I drops him off feel I am leaving him with a family member! It happens during the day that I stopped by and see how is he doing? They are fine, playing and it gives me a peace of mind to see him in a center that gives him a lots of attention. Cant thanks you enough!
