HELLO...I want to start off by saying: This review is solely about the Maaco auto body shop located in Timonium on Greenspring Drive.. Prior to me getting the work done there I have had no relationship with anyone at this company whatsoever & and do not know anyone who works there.. I brought my vehicle to this Maaco for a All Over Paint Job with color change, It also needed about 12 Minor dents repaired ,and the hood Re-aligned. I want to mention that I have had 6 cars repainted in my life at different body shops in the past, but I have never used this Maaco before. For me to say in writing that I am EXTREMELY HAPPY would simply be an understatement , because I have had experience in the past that I could compare my overall experience to.. In addition , I am a former owner of a Auto detailing business, and I know exactly what to look for when checking out a vehicles paint . Not only was my estimated price adhered to , I was given periodic phone calls letting me know the status of my car. The gentleman who is in charge named Casey could NOT have been more helpful or informative , as he is an absolute professional and knows this business like a seasoned veteran. He listened to my concerns & made notations while going over my vehicle. He is very thorough in explaining reality versus possible unrealistic expectations that a person MAY or MAY NOT have .. My other estimate from a local paint shop was more than double the price of this Maaco . They use quality materials that allow your repair / paint job to have a decent warranty.. I have nothing negative to say about my visit to this location. Im pleased with the result and everything that happened in between including the great communication skills and service from the WONDERFUL & KNOWLEDGEABLE young lady who works behind the front desk...... I had been wanting to take my 15 year old Toyota 4 Runner to a Maaco for some time because the hood and roof of my car had been damaged so badly from the sun. The clear cloat had just peeled off after all those years. The problem was that there werent any in my area and I couldnt find the time to get to the closest one until Casey opened up in Timonium. The location is great, right near I83 between Timonium and Padonia roads almost across from the park and ride that butts up against the back of the fairgrounds. I had been thinking Maaco because of cost. How much money did I want to put in to my 15 year old car? I also had a nice dent in the rear which would require body work and a new bumper. I was surprised to find that this wasnt the "Maaco" that we all have known, Caseys Maaco DOES NOT use expired paint. He uses a high quality industry brand called PPG. Caseys shop is beautiful and state of the art and he understands customer service. I would know as I had previously been in the automotive service industry for more than ten years as a Technician and a service writer at Bill Kidds Volvo. I understand demanding customers. The prices were terrific too. Even though he uses quality products, the cost for the entire job was still within my expectations, in fact he exceeded them. They fixed all the little dings and nicks in my body that would have shown up more with a new paint job, took me around the shop and showed me examples of different paint packages..... real service. He wont oversell you but he will give you options. He has even entertained my phone calls and emails I have sent over on how to care for my new paint job. I cannot recommend the shop enough.

I had a great experience at Maaco in Timonium after my wife ran into a wall with our Nissa Versa. My wife was not injured, but the car was. I initially thought the car was totaled, as the hood, radiator, headlights bumper and driver airbags were all toast. Casey and his team at Maaco quickly got on the job after my insurance company towed the car to Maaco (because of a good review my friend had given Caseys shop). They were on-point when it came to a time-in-shop estimate, and the work they did was immaculate. The car literally looks better after their body work than it did before. Ill be going back to Timonium Maaco for all my car body needs going forward. Highly recommended.

Court Broughton

Made a huge error by having individuals fix a dent in my Mazda 3 back passenger door in a parking lot. The Manager Casey explained everything in detail and never left anything out. From start to finish I knew how my vehicle would be repaired and how long it would take to be repaired. Casey was friendly, courteous, and his customer service was amazing. I plan on taking my second vehicle back to him for additional repairs. Ive never trusted mechanics or dealerships because they typically up the price to gain a profit. This Maaco isnt about profit, there about ensuring your vehicle is repaired in timely fashion, and the quality of the repairs are flawless.

Timonium Cyphers

Timonium Maaco corrected a paint problem on my Honda Accord ! My late model Honda Accord was painted 2x in the last 5 years and at the tail end of the warranty period the paint became dull like a primer. Casey recognized the problem and stripped the top surfaces of the car down to bare metal then painted the car with primer then two coats the first being the paint then after that dried the second coat was just sealant. I know that the car was properly pre-treated because he provided pictures of bare shinny metal of my vehicle. Thanks Casey you really made my ride look like new paint for many years.!!

Forget what you have heard about other Maacos. These guys do amazing work. The Manager Casey was an absolute pleasure to deal with and the quality of work and price were better than I could have ever expected. I would recommend this shop to anyone. Everyone that sees my car cant believe what I paid and the quality performed. A+ from the moment I dropped the car off to when I picked it up.

I brought my rusted and peeling 1993 Jeep Wrangler in for a custom paint job. Not only did they finish it on time, but stayed late on pickup day to help me get some last minute decals applied. I know Maaco gets some mixed reviews, but I think it must all depend on the individual shop, and the folks in Timonium do a great job and care about a quality result.

He explained what options we had, what we could expect and offered 2 prices We were pleased with the results , are car looked GREAT. Easy to deal with , work was well done . The owner is a perfectionist - a car enthusiast time frame required

I thought Casey, Rose and the team did a great job repainting my jeep wrangler TJ. It was a fair price, it took them a week. Casey explained everything to me. Showed me different colors. Couldnt be happier with the job. My neighbours say it looks just like a new car. Really like the patriot blue color. Thanks again. -Tim
