Ive been a member here for the past 2 years (before they left Golds Gym and went independent) and I must say that things recently have gone downhill. Most of the staff are great, but the ones in the "higher" positions (managers, etc.) are extremely unprofessional. Im pretty much a regular and reminded them multiple times that I needed the number of swipes for each quarter for work purposes. In transitioning between Golds and IFTC they were not able to do that for Q1, but multiple managers assured me that this wouldnt happen again in the future. Well, here it is - 2 quarters later and when I asked about the information they dont have it. They said they would get back to me via email or phone and didnt. Even after I went there in person the present manager (Aimee Yvette Ringgold) gave me a funky, hoodrat, ghetto-fabulous attitude. She is extremely rude and talks to customers the same disrespectful way that she talks to her own employees. I actually feel bad that they have to listen to her daily. ALSO, My 2 year contract ended this month, and they decided to TRY to extend and automatically bill me without having me sign anything - even after their mess up of LYING about the information I requested. I asked to speak to someone that could assist like another manager or owner, but I got the ignorant "too bad" z-snap, ratchet behavior from a 42 year old "manager" and no intent of any resolution from those above her. Overall, this place is a mediocre gym to workout at (no platforms for cleans/snatches smh), and very unorganized. Often times the bathrooms/gym are closed randomly, the sauna rarely works, and the machines are only serviced when they literally fall apart. If you can go 2 years or more without having to interact with the clowns in charge right now, then this is the place for you. The trainers are cool, the classes seem pretty productive, but everything else will make you question why you still are a member there. Im all for supporting local businesses, but not self-appointed, unprofessional, "acting managers" that have no communication skills or simple common sense. Good luck

This gym used to be an OK place to go when it was a Golds Gym. I would have been nice and gave it 5 stars, but it never deserved more than 3. Now it is one of the worst gyms there is. They have slapped a coat of paint on everything and changed the colors, but most of the equipment is old and broken down half the time. Searching for grips and pins is always an adventure. The floor is dirty and awful. Gym wipes are no longer provided, only paper towels and a spray bottle that no one uses. There are a few friendly people still there, but the owner wrongfully accused me of trying to cheat them out of money on two occasions and that was it. All the owner had to do was check my payment records, but he couldnt help accusing me of cheating him...TWICE! Had other issues with the owner. Truthfully, I am partially to blame for the problems with the owner, but the he escalated things over the top. I am canceling my membership and notifying my credit card company to refuse any future payments from this gym.

Worst gym of all time, period. Ive been a member for more than an year (Was there when it was Golds) and here are some of the major disappointments: 1. No supply of towels and wipes which means the machines stink of sweat all the time. 2. The front desk staff is rude and nasty. Low quality of trainers who lack fitness knowledge and arent trained themselves. 3. Too many steroid junkies making noise in the gym occupying multiple machines. Some work on 3-4 machines over an hour blocking everyone else from using them. There needs to be strict monitoring and regulations for someone trying to own any machine(s) over a prolonged amount of time. Sadly the staff doesnt care.

Never had to write a review before but I seriously must warn you about this gym. I have signed the paperwork and unsubscribed to the gym 6 months ago and I am still getting bills of on a monthly basis. Ive called the gym 6 times (everytime I got billed) they would say we will call you back Or we will have our manager call you back but no one does call back ever. They wouldnt cancel the transaction either. Which means they have stolen over $120 from me so far. Dont do anything serious with that gym because they will not let you go. I am actually considering of calling my bank and stating that this is fraud because I need this issue resolved.

I love this gym! I love Chizel It with Charles and cycling class with Sharon and Dwayne. The staff is friendly and the cleaning guy is meticulous. I love that I can go in and drop off my babies while working off my baby mama stress. Most of all, I love all the bang I get for my buck. The amenities compare to that of way more expensive gyms. There have been a few minor inconveniences due to transition, but Im confident Ill be able to give it 5 stars in the near future. No one can please all of the people all of the time, but this gym seems to try. Thanks IFTC!

Ive been a member for over a year now , and coming from planet fitness it was a huge upgrade as far as equipment and training. HOWEVER! Besides the trainer named "smoke" everyone else that works there is extremely rude and not approachable. And dont let me get started on the owner Joe. He walks around with a attitude and was very unprofessional when I told him I have to cancel my membership. I would not recommend for anybody to signupb for this gym PERIOD!! For $40 you can get much better service and treatment

Never been anywhere near this place. I live in another state. I have been getting emails one a week for a year saying my credit card payment (did not specify which one)did not go through and to go online and update it. I have emailed and called twice to find out if someone stole my credit card info. No one ever got back to me. The second time I called he just said to cancel all my credit cards and hung up. Very rude....and theres no way to stop them from attempted billing and sending these emails.

I was a member of golds gym and they were great. But when they went independent their quality of customer service went downhill. In fact when I just called them which it took me 3 days to find a good number for them they answer the phone "hello". I cancelled my membership 4 months ago and they have been charging my credit card ever since. Not cool.

The guy at the front desk, "J" was the most unprofessional and rude person Ive ever met. They made a mistake in my account and he asked me to show him my bank account to prove that I paid my account, Otherwise he wouldnt let me workout. Meanwhile I had no balance. I will complain to Corporate. He needs to be fired. Trust me this is NOT over...

I cancelled my membership five months ago and they are still charging me. I spoke with them on three separate occasions to get them to stop doing it and they just keep on doing it. I had to actually close my bank account to get them to actually get them to stop.
