Had a Groupon for an alignment and I was forced to pay 120 dollars or else the cops were going to be called because they stated something else was wrong with my car when he took a picture and showed me a piece was disconnected and he said my car wheel could come off at any moment. i wish I could show you guys the pictures he sent me its no way I could have been driving like that for months and not get in an accident! I drive a older car where you feel every bump so if that was the case I would have been, been on the side of the road it looks like they disassembled my inner tie rod real quick, I work in Baltimore but live in Bowie and commute everyday my car was perfectly fine they just wanted me to pay them more money. A man that wasnt even working on my car told me it wouldnt be let down unless I got it towed or the cops were going to be called, how do you tell an owner you cant give them back there car. My car was sat back out in the parking lot after I agreed to pay in less than 10 mins doesnt even feel like my car was aligned because it still drifts off to the right. I will never go back to this place again. The man was going back and forth with me trying to force me to pay more money. When he was talking to me he told me it would cost between 70-120 and I ended up paying $122 for 10 mins of work including the alignment how do you do an alignment and tighten inner tie rod in less than 10 mins

They gave me a great price and that was for goodyears! When I came back i noticed they put continentals on for the same price and they are better tires! Also the goodyears had a $40 rebate and the continentals had a $70 rebate! They were very nice and did more then they said they would! The road hazard for the tires came out to be $8 and some change per tire which is a great price because everywhere else its like $12 and they ( carney tire )offer a lifetime flat repair service and balance and rotation for the life of the tire! And all other companies its like one year or so many miles of flat repair service only! And carney tire was the cheapest and had the best tires! I also love how they handle the rebate paperwork for you! I mean I wouldve liked if they called and asked if they could put better tires on but hey they are better tires with a better rebate for the same price so Im happy! They did offer to change them once I asked about it but why would I want to get worse tires for the same price! I dont think anyone can be too mad about that! But they were very nice, very helpful and knowledgeable! So I will be back! They have earned my business for the any future car issues! Also very easy to find.

Outstanding service, friendly, and they exceeded my expectations. They go out of their way for you. I was driving from Maryland to Indiana on a Sunday morning, and 20 minutes on route, I found a screw in my tire, causing a flat. It was 8 am when I pulled up to Carney Tire, and they werent scheduled to open until 9 am (no one opened until 9 am). At 8:30 AM, the store manager waved me over, and I mentioned that I needed to drive back to Indiana that day, but I had a flat needing repair. Even though he had cars to be worked on from the previous day, he managed to squeeze me in at 9 am when they opened, and I was back on the road by 10 AM. In addition, I had my wife and 2 dogs with me, so we had to wait with our dogs outside while the tire was repaired. The store manager offered us cold water for all of us. It goes to show that there are incredibly decent people in this world, and Carney Tire was an example of how Auto Services should be run. They exemplify generosity, devotion, care, and thoughtfulness to their customers. I would recommend their service over any other Ive encountered. Thank you very much Carney! You made us very happy!

I needed 4 new tires for my Honda CRV and started shopping. I looked on line and then visited 3 different service centers. One pushed a specific product with a 4 for the price of 2 offer. In their quotation they charged for every specific service - mounting, balancing, tire disposal, etc, etc. It ended up as the most expensive quote. The second vendor recommended a name-brand sale tire and a price that I thought was good - for a 55,000 mile tire. My last stop was Carney Tire and Car Care Center. There they offered the same 55,000 mile tire as the previous vendor but $10 cheaper per tire and they were not on sale. The sales staff was very helpful and did not push any product or service. I asked about other tires and offers and found a much better tire - a 90,000 mile Continental - with a $70 rebate that when combined with their pricing provided a 90,000 mile tire at the same cost as the 55,000 mile product. We made an appointment for the next day. The tires were there, they began working on the car at the appointed time and it was ready when they said it would be. All was hassle free. I would definitely recommend Carney Tire and Car Care Center.

I recently moved across town which meant trying to find a new auto repair shop (that wont screw you over or milk you for pennies) so after doing research I decided to try out Carney tire... Boy have I been overly satisfied. Being a full time student and working I rarely, if ever have the time to do my repairs myself. The staff there have been seriously nothing but helpful and even try to save me money. I swapped suspension components swapped out in order to lower the vehicle, where the dealer said they were unable to align because of it, these guys had not a single issue. I was in and out briefly with my car tracking straight again. Again, when it came time for brakes the dealer wanted to charge for a full pad+rotor job, where CT advised me that only the rear pads needed replacement and the rotors were easily resurfaced. Its nice finding a place that doesnt give you the run around and treats all of its customers like people, rather than appointments. Would definitely recommend.

I bought a Groupon for $15, and called several times to get an appointment, only to be told "were too busy for an oil change right now." I ended up getting an oil change somewhere else, and waited until the next oil change to use the Groupon. I called again, made an appointment, and brought my car in, only to be told it would take "at least an hour." Also, the technician said that I would need the "proper oil" which would cost an additional $10. Ive never been told this before, but I dont consider $25 to be a bargain price at all. I think this was just a scheme to get new customers to pay their regular price! Okay, fine, there are plenty of places to shop nearby. While shopping, I recieved a call from the mechanic, who said, "your car is fine, but you probably need to flush your engine oil to keep it running" He gave me an estimate which seemed outrageous, and I declined the service. I definitely wont be going back to this place!
