I am a customer who has an immense appreciation for good customer service. Willing to travel the distance for outstanding service(s) rendered, I would remain loyal to the vendor/businessperson who is capable of accomplishing this task. In 2000, I had my first experience with eyebrow threading at Usha’s Salon on Harford Rd. It was there that I first met Nayha, who threaded my brows. I preferred her to the other ladies because she was professional and had a consistently gentle disposition. Due to my satisfaction with the services Nayha provided me throughout the years, I followed her, left and returned to her services. When I discovered she opened her very own shop in Pikesville, MD, I was elated; not only for the convenience of her new location, but I was genuinely happy for her success as a business owner! As life would have it, I have gracefully aged; yet, I was prematurely graying with a rogue hair or two in my brow since my twenties. This is not new. What is new however, are the comments and expressed opinions I’ve received whenever I would point out visible imperfection(s) with the outcome of the service. In addition, to this newness, I had the need to argue my point or to insist on a correction. Perhaps I am reluctant to change, but when was it ever an accepted practice to argue with a customer? On more than one occasion, I’ve had to endure comments about the location or the number of graying hairs in my brow that prevented the polished look to which I’d grown accustomed. When was it ever an accepted practice to insult a customer? When I pointed out an exact location of the imperfection, I was made to feel as if my eyes were failing me. After a few annoying exchanges, Nayha would finally relent and do as I so loyally paid her to do. I was assured after expressing my gratitude for the correction, that she would remember my preference for future visits. But alas! To my chagrin, it would occur again. Was this a sign? I declined the option to purchase the product suggested to conceal my look of distinction. Perhaps a rarity, but I choose not to defy this natural aging process, but to embrace it. The most recent occurrence took place with a new brow threader, known as Deepa. Since my obvious annoyance with Nayha, I had happily grown accustomed to the outstanding job she consistently performed on my brows. When I politely declined the suggested sales attempt for face powder, I was asked if I liked my gray hair. Really??? I emphatically told her that I loved my grays. And with that, Deepa agreed, as “there were so many!” Really??? To add insult to the injury, the cashier asked how, not if, but how I wanted to handle my gratuity! When I declined, she returned my credit card, not to my hand as I’d given it to her, but practically tossed it onto the counter. Now I’m no Rocket Scientist, but I think I can safely assume, my business is no longer appreciated at Nayha’s Salon in Pikesville. Can anyone recommend a better service for those of us who are gracefully aging??

hi my name is aaliyah and Ive been working at neha threading since October 6 2016 as a shampoo assistant... when I first started .. I couldnt help to notice how rude and nasty she was to the staff ... everyone would tell me the only way to make her happy is by cleaning or at least look like your cleaning... now Ive Been working in salons since I was 14 Im 22 now so I pretty much know my duties as an assistant ... neha would ask me to scrub base boards In front of the clients and mop and scrub the walls ... and she would single me out from everyone and make me feel like Im a slave she would brag about where she came from and how she grew up having servants ... I felt like she was treating me this way because the color of my skin and I was the only dark skinned girl and I talked to her husband Rodge and express to him how his wife treated me like I was a servant and his exact words were " you better not let me hear you say that again you cannot feel that way I will replace you " I was so numb because I never ever worked in a environment like this I mean it was terrible... because everyday I seen how neha and kaitlyn lied to the clients everyday it made me sick to my stomach ! I knew neha was racist because she told kaitlyn to find her someone white or light to go on the news with her so she can attract more white people and I was told tht by someone who was suppose to go on the news with her ..I wanna let everyone know how much of a fraud /racist neha is she ask her client what they do and what kinda car they drive so she could base tht on how she treats them Im tired of her lying to black clients acting like she care for them when she only cares about the money ... yesterday Kaitlyn fired me with neha in the room she said nothing to me I mean not a word she just act as if I wasnt there but she claimed she loved and cared about me I did nothing but stand up for myself and what I believed in and the things she wanted me to do I wasnt comfortable doing and she would clock me out causing me to lose money and I lost my Apartment working at nehas and I begged them for a raise they never gave it to me and I just got my new place July 24 and they fired me not giving me a reason at all ... please stop spending your money and your time at nehas she would never look at you as an equal shes racist and I never endured so much disrespect discrimination in my life Im not upset this jus was a big eye opener for I jus needed to share my experience with everyone and honestly this not even half of what happened during the time Ive been there I mean it was so bad to the point when the stylist would email her and her husband complaining about how she treated me and nothing never changed ...

I purchased a couples Groupon for my anniversary here and the experience was amazing! !!! The couples massage was very relaxing. The massage therapist were extremely professional and friendly. Once we were done with our massages we were taken to the relaxing area where they gave us frozen strawberries and a choice of wine, water or sparkling cider. We were then called back to the room to relax in our milk bath. I must say, I have never had a milk bath before and trust me when I tell you, you must get one here. The only advice I would offer is, to have the massage therapist ask you the kind of water temperature is best for your body. My Husband and I like really hot water baths, so we felt a little cold while in the water and needed to rewarm the bath with hotter water. The room also needed to be a little hotter while your body is wet. Other than that, we had an amazing time. I would highly recommend coming here. Oh and let me add we were greeted by the owner and our massage therapist were waiting for us. We arrived 15mins early and they took us right away. There was no waiting. The massage therapist spoke with us about the process and then asked if we had pain anywhere. Trust me they made sure to massage out the areas you mentioned were hurting you. Overall GREAT experience!
