Worst Salon experience in my life. They dont know black hair. Agreed to charge me $50 to take my weave out and dye my hair but when I got to the counter they changed the price to $65. They werent even courteous enough to dry my hair. They sent me out the door with soaking wet hair in 14 degree weather. The two broads that took my hair down kept yanking and pulling on my hair so hard I asked them several times to take it easy and I am not tender headed. Id never take my kid here. The way the pull on those poor kids heads is a shame. Find yourself a good black salon with folks that know black hair. They dont even know how to brush/comb it. Your supposed to start at the end and work your way up helphas. I left that salon pissed. Never again!

The service was great I will definitely be returning! I had a consultation with Julia first before we did anything and she thoroughly explained to me what would work best for my natural hair and how to maintain it. She also made the experience a pleasant one by being very personable and somewhat relateable by general conversation (It made me feel a lot more at ease to have someone like that.)The staff was friendly, the place was definitely well kept and the prices seemed pretty reasonable (I say seemed bc I was already getting a fairly expensive treatment but it was very reasonable after doing my research on price comparison) Overall I enjoyed my experience here better than other Dominican salons Ive been to.

I love my hair. The place is very clean and the staff are friendly. I got a few minutes consultation on what I want and what to expect. Made up my mind and it came out just how I like it. Esther did my hair. The prices vary and you wont break the bank. I had the opportunity to also chat with Julia, who is fun. I was very relaxed by her nature and approach. We talked about hair; how to grow your hair, maintaining style after leaving the salon and how to treat and keep it from breaking. Its been a week and my hair looks fabulous and with bounce. I will definitely recommend Juliadominicanhairsalon to everyone. Thank you

Hair care is not a priority in this salon. I should have gotten up when the lady washing my hair was racking through my hair! That was a sign but I didn't. The heat used was ridiculous! I have been natural my entire life, with health hair usually past my shoulders to mid back unless I'm cutting it. Now I have severe heat damage and my hair is breaking and shedding thanks to this salon. It's my fault because I knew better bur oh well, I will be rocking a short fro this spring! I would give the salon a negative but that's not an option. The only positive is that the staff is very kind.

Ive never walked out of a Dominican salon very satisfied with my until I walked out of this salon. My hair was done by Julia and she was very nice and welcoming. She cared for my hair like it was her own. She knew what she was talking about. She worked fast and efficient. The atmosphere of the shop is very clean and relaxing. I live in Randallstown and even though theres two other shops closer to me, I would rather come here any day. This is definitely my official hair salon until I go bald, even then I might still come to get some scalp treatment done lol. Absolutely love this place.

veronica is amazing and takes care of your hair. Julia is excellent and knows what she is doing. they speak both English and Spanish. veronica and Julia and it is another young lady who does my hair and I am never disappointed. I either get a feather wrap or silk pressed. however every stylist in there I have watched and all their work is incredible. I am not from this area so it was hard finding a salon who I trusted with my hair and I recommend this place for natural or not natural hair because I have been both and still continue to go here.

Did a horrible job. I went in for a balayage consisting of caramel and bronze colors. We both agreed but somewhere along the way without being told she gave me a mix of chunky highlights in the crown with color at the bottom in RED! firetruck red! I almost cried. she told me too return in a week to fix it but between her completely deviating from the numerous pictures and the agreement to the way she dried my hair under the drier then blowdried it again (which hurt) I will never go there again. Absolutely horrendous.

Julia the owner and operator of the salon was pleasant, very sweet, easy to communicate with, patient, she even waited for me to arrive at the salon because of my work hours and the traffic situation through the Reisterstown Rd corridor is very congestion..Id recommend this hair salon is the best for me and for anyone that needs a professional touch for hair, skin and a genuine smile!!!

Great service...I visited this establishment last week and received superior service. I was serviced within 10 minutes of arrival and completed within the hour. I have natural hair and was pleased with the end result. My hair was very straight. The salon is contemporary and clean. I had no issues with parking, but i went on a weekday after work. I will visit again.

I hated my experience the people were nice but these Dominicans do not know how to do hair. My hair was so dry and just looked poofy and horrible. After I gave my 35 bucks I felt cheated cause I had to go home and do my hair over. When I did it at home it looked better than when I left the salon. Never going back again.

See my review for the Owings Mills location. I started going to Pikesville before Owings Mills opened. This is the best salon for hair health, price and time! Pikesvilles best kept secret for serious ladies who want fabulous, healthy hair and dont have all day to sit in a salon!

I love Julia she does great hair I just hate the shampoo girls they dont know how to wash hair and comb hair for less breakage so I stop going there only because the shampoo girls need better training. Especially the skinny shampoo girl very rough and Im very disappointed

Always taking care of me and quickly. Veronica is the best at her craft. Julia is the sweetest and so gracious. Every part of the process, especially getting my hair washed, is an experience and a highlight of my day whenever I go there. Definitely check them out

I have been a customer at Julias salon for little over a year. I have always experienced prompt and courteous service. I typically have my hair blown out or roller set with deep conditioning. Julia is knowledgeable, patient, and has taken great care of my hair.

The ONLY plac you need to go for the fastest service, and the BEST blowouts, feather wraps, and curls. They take Walk Ins, you can bring your own shampoo and conditioner, and they have WiFi. Ive been going for 5 years, always leave satisfied.

The took me right back and I dont even think I was there longer than an hour and a half. I got a wash, trim and blow dry and the lady was really nice. Sorry I dont remember her name. She even took pictures afterwards :-)
