I really want to like this place...but the front desk is so RUDE when scheduling appointments or asking a question. Stylist are very limited, I have tried several different stylist. None seem knowledgeable in current styles or options. They only know one way to do things. REALLY HATE the TIP POLICY. Sorta like going to a nice dinner and not being able to add your waiters tip to the bill. This is the only state Ive ever lived in that has this policy. Unfortunate for the stylist as well, if I dont have cash...they arent getting a tip.

I LOVE Samsara! I have been there before only for pedicures and decided to start getting my hair done by a stylist. I had been going to a different salon for 12yrs and was ready for a new atmosphere and new ideas. Samaras staff is awesome and very helpful. I have found the perfect person to style my hair! She spent a lot of time with me during my first appt., gave me a new look and great tips on how to style my hair. I will not go anywhere else, but Samsara. I am so happy I made the change.

This salon and spa is absolutely amazing!!! Hair, nails, facials, and massages are all great. I have never had a bad service at Samsara and I have been going there for 6 years. This place blows any other salon in the area out of the water by far. Everyone and I mean everyone is so friendly and helpful. The receptionists are awesome. They are so nice and attentive to the clients. Really I just cant say enough good things about this place. I love it so much and look forward to every visit.

I (we) have been going to Samsara for years and tried many of the stylists, all of whom are excellent. Very well trained. The salon is first rate in comfort and decor. They are always keeping up with the latest trends and passing them on to their clients. I love what Melissa and Brooke do. They taylor the cut and style to the kind of time and talent I have to "do" my own hair. Ill keep going back. Julie Girardini and Ken too!

Great salon! I followed my stylist here when she relocated over 4 years ago. Samsara has the best staff and atmosphere out of any salon I have been to in Maryland/Virginia. I love Samara (and my stylist) so much that I make trips all the way from Northern Virginia just to get my hair done!! The salon is very accommodating and Crystal has even changed her schedule or came in for a few hours on her day off just to fit me in!

As a guy I never thought I would enjoy a salon, but the staff makes everyone feel comfortable no matter what the gender. They have an assortment of products for everyone. I am really excited to try their new mens line called "Hero". My favorite part is I can get a message too. It is a gorgeous, quaint store in a historic location. Thank you for everything you offer, and making guys like me feel comfortable.

Beautiful place... Wonderful, quiet location... Free parking... Megan did a great job with cutting off 8 inches of my hair and giving me a style and then a very nice job highlighting my very dark brown hair with summery, shiny highlights. Melissa (one of the owners) was quick to respond to an extra charge I should not have received and refunded my money promptly. Definitely recommend to my friends.

Customer service was great! I was given a glass of wine and not treated like I was just "an appointment". The atmosphere is nice and everyone is very friendly. The girl who cut my hair (crystal) was awesome. She was thorough, professional and did exactly what I asked. Nice, charming salon in such a little town. Ive also heard from friends that they give awesome pedicures and manicures

Great place to get your hair done. Ive been super satisfied with my haircut and style both times Ive gone. Only 4 stars because their hours are TERRIBLE. Theyre closed Sundays AND Mondays, close at 4 on Saturdays, and dont open until 10pm on most weekdays. Trying to schedule an appointment with these hours is the most difficult thing.

Absolutely wonderful salon. I just love the girl that cuts my hair. She does a great job and is so friendly. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing, and always clean. I have had a few massages there as well, and they were fantastic! I have been going to Samsara for a few years now and I will not go anywhere else!

Samsara is a bit of a drive for me but I dont mind! The atmosphere here is so relaxing and cozy. They treat you so nice from the moment you walk in, you cant help but to be in a good mood. They even offer you wine, which I love! Heather Snyder is my stylist and I left yet again just loving the cut she gave me!

Samsara is a luxurious yet comfy salon tucked into a quaint, historic small town. From the moment I walk in the door till I leave I am treated with courtesy and care. My stylist is a miracle worker. She listens, suggests, and works her magic. (thnx crystal) I always leave feeling pampered and refreshed.
