Im glad finally to have a chance to tell folks about one of my favorite businesses in our village of Capitol Hill. The services (in my case haircuts and highlights) are exactly right. But what I really love is the vibe of the place... laid back, friendly and pressure free. Its a terrific location, right by Eastern Market in a lovely second floor thats filled with sunlight and plants. The XM radio changes depending on folks moods and within minutes of being there you feel at home. They offer all the services you need (and more) and have nifty specials and a great looking website. And you wont come away broke. Try it!

Stephen is incredible! Ive never had such a personal experience at a salon before. He said from the getgo he wasnt into small talk, and proceeded to talk with me in great detail about my hair and what style would be best for me. I was so satisfied. I loved my cut. (For reference, I have long, wavy, thick hair. A lot of stylists are stymied by how to decrease the volume, but Stephen was victorious.) A little pricey — but your hair is something you wear every day. It should look good, and you get what you pay for.

Just had my hair cut with Connie and it was fantastic. Shes such a warm, friendly person and was very attentive to details and what I wanted. I have a kind of edgier short haircut and she did a great job and was really excited about it and giving color ideas which was fun as well! Definitely going back!

Tricia Kelly does not believe in the bonding between a client and stylist. If a request is made that she can not honor, rather than saying NO she calls the press. Your talk is the nations business. Watch out for this salon. Just bad business practice.

I was very impressed by the professionalism and the atmosphere was great. I was a bit nervous at first but I left so happy. Great salon and very close to metro! Im so going again!
