My friend was getting married and wanted the fun morning with her 2 bridesmaids (including myself) to get hair and make-up done together (normal circumstance). The experience was nothing short of awful! At the time, I was a brand new mommy, with scheduled times that day to get away to nurse my baby, so time was of the utmost importance. I was also told it would be $30 for hair and $30 for makeup.... reasonable. Because of my mommy needs, I was supposed to be first in the books for make up then hair. I got my make-up done first (and almost cried it looked so badly-but saved face for my friends day) and they were taking walk-ins while I sat around waiting for my hair to be done (even though it was supposed to be scheduled). They even took the other bridesmaid back because they hadnt tried to even remember our names and they thought she was me. So after 45 minutes (a total of almost 2 hours in there altogether), they realize they dont have anyone to do my hair because theyre all busy, so they squeeze me onto some girls schedule who is not happy at the idea. The girl takes me back and talks about her ex-boyfriend the whole time, keeps checkign her phone for text messages from him, while explaining to me that he has a new g/f whos pregnant and shes upset and blah blah blah (meanwhile Im nodding and staring at my watch), drama drama drama. Shes talking while curling so its taking her longer. Finally, at one point she asks if I want a few of the curls in a little clip, and I said "sure"... literally 3 strands of curls are put into one of those easy clips on my head. It takes her 3 seconds to do. When all is said and done, I go to pay for it and they tell me $90!!!! Im already upset about the make-up and terrible hair job I have already, which I wouldnt pay $5 for, and then they tell me its $30 more than it was supposed to be! And... Im already an hour late for feeding my baby, AND its my best friends wedding so I dont want to cause an uprise. I asked why $90. They said "30 for make up and 60 for hair." When I inquire about why the hair is $60, they look at my clip with 3 strands of hair and tell me that its $30 more for an updo. The tears are welling up in my eyes at this point (for the awful experience, the disbelief that 3 strands in a clip counts as an updo, and I"m an hour late to feed my baby) and the more I inquired about it and told them it wasnt explained to me that way, they became ruder and ruder and told me there was nothing they could do. The other bridesmaid tells me not to take it or let them do it, but as Im watching my bride friend get her hair done happily and looking at the clock, I fork over the money and run out of the salon in absolute tears. The rest of the day I couldnt stand to look in a mirror because of the awful job and as Im driving on my way to feed my baby, Im crying on the phone to my husband telling him how sorry I am because I know we cant afford the $100 I had just spent on a terrible makeup and hair job. Every time I look at my best friends wedding photos Im reminded of that awful experience...... I would not recommend this salon! Customer service - POOR, Time management - POOR, Quality - POOR. They are rude with attitude and its obvious they are about quantity, not quality, and they dont care if youre happy or not. I paid $30 to look like I was going trick-or-treating, and $60 for someone to curl my hair and put a few strands in a clip - something I could have done for free at my own home. Dont waste your time. If you want a good place to go to, go to Carnegie and Company in Westminster. Ive never had a bad experience there and they are still my salon for 15 years.

Bar none, absolute worst customer service and worst haircut I have ever received. If I take my car in for a tune up, I do not expect it to drive worse OR have new problems. If there is something so fundamentally wrong with it, I would expect the mechanic to have INTEGRITY and say, "Nope, nothing I can do" and not charge for services. I needed my bangs fixed from a bad chop. New hairdo, Hepburn length, something, anything cute. Girl couldnt do it, but instead of making it even somewhat better, she managed to make it worse. Wait, arent you the STYLIST? Isnt this why I am paying you? I left the salon and cried and cried in the parking lot for 10 minutes before I was able to drive. When I received the customer service check-in call a week later, I returned the call and (very very kindly) said, hey, I was not pleased with my hair cut, it was extremely expensive and only left it looking worse than before; a refund, something, anything would be nice. On the phone the owner was very defensive, very rude. I calmly ignored it. When I got to the salon, she neither apologized nor issued a refund, but instead symbolically snipped at my hair and said nothing could be done, no new hairstyle existed on this planet other than long layers and side-tucked bangs. She was cold, unfriendly and I left crying, YET again. No restitution was offered, no friendly handshake, no smile. They destroyed my hair and took money for services never actually rendered. I dont pay $60 to look worse. Make me look better. And if you cant, dont make me pay. Unethical, untalented, over-priced and rude. What more could you NOT want in a salon? Welcome to Bladerunner.

Just moved back to the area and.was recommended to try bladerunner for lash extensions... I was leaving town and had limited time but they got me in for not only lashes but, highlights, a deep Conditioning treatment and a trim with a blow out.. I Instantly felt welcomed and knew that day I had found my new salon! Everyone is so so welcoming and friendly.. the atmosphere was comfortable and inviting.. talking and.laughing.. its that old school salon experience that I feel like is really hard to.find these days.. but they have it! Its like cheers of hair salons and they remember you and care.. I am certainly going back.and.highly.recommend them especially if you are looking for your cheers aka salon!

I have been a client at Bladerunner for over 15 years. I have never been unhappy with my service, my haircut, or color. These are professional stylists who obviously have been trained in the latest styles and techniques. Mahi is my stylist, and all I need to say is "do what you think will look best", and she never disappoints. If I have a special request or idea for a new style, she will thoroughly discuss how she thinks it fits my face and my hair type. I cant tell you how many times I have been out in public and people have complimented my hair. I highly recommend Bladerunner and can confidently say you will feel pampered and valued as a client. I always leave feeling beautiful!
