I had a problem with my car and the police towed it to UAB and I forgot my meds and called the police to get them they told me Im all set just call universal and it would be fine so I called and they told me I need the police permission which I had so he asked how long to get there I told him 10 minutes then I asked him how much is this gonna cost me he gave the price then said how much it would be for another 24 hours. I have know issues paying for what I owe so I get there hes not there I called him twice before he answered and he told me 5 more minutes so I grab the meds without a hitch the next day I fixed the issues with the vehicle and called and told them Id be there soon. they asked if I had completed everything the police had asked of me which I had. then he re-totaled it for me so when I get about halfway to universal they call and tell me I owe additional money for me coming to get my meds because it wasnt normal business hours I asked the guy why didnt he tell me about the charge his response was "what were you gonna do go the day without your meds?" the problem I have with this is there was no choice whether I wanted to pay extra or not, the question he asked is pointless because it already happened not to mention none of his business and then he denied talking price with me you can tell they need the money the office is a mess so I did them a favor and paid the total cost now I have these questions about if they didnt have a symbiotic relationship with the police would they still be brazen enough to overcharge people with no fear of repercussion the one thing I can say is the women in the office was professional shes probably the only reason there still in business. So I plead with anyone who reads this its your Christian duty not to come hear not only did they pass judgement on me but acted unethical is it this bad in our society that in 2014 were still trying to make a living extorting money from the middle class

Top notch, professional service and - most importantly - ironclad integrity. They 100% delivered on what they promised both times I had work done - on time (actually earlier) and budget. Car came back washed and cleaned in a final touch. These folks are great.

Took my car to Universal after being in an accident, they did a great job ! Everything was taken care of, no hassles ! Weve taken our cars to be aligned also. Great company, great people !

Went to Universal after my car was backed into. They were Great. They did all of the negotiating directly with the insurance company and even got me a rental car. Very professional.
