This being my first summer living in Boston, everything from restaurants to bookstores have been hit or miss so far (and mostly misses). Fast Eddies turned out to be a diamond in the rough. I went into the small barbers shop not knowing what to expect and was greeted with smiles and hand shakes. Both barbers (one of whom was Eddie) seemed like very decent people with great perspectives on anything I had to offer during my cut. The haircut: I couldnt ask for more. I barely had to mention my preferences before Eddie did exactly what I had in mind, but a whole lot better with his professional eye. 18 years of experience in this shop has made him a master of his art, and as long as I live in Boston, hell be the person I seek to paint my portrait. Thanks a lot you guys.

I hate getting my hair cut. I came here having not had a haircut in a year, and I could not have been happier. After waiting about 10 min (pretty good for a saturday afternoon walk-in) in a big leather lazy boy, I told him I wanted it short and he got it done looking good. With other barbers, they would spend time shampooing my hair and combing and clipping it. Richie got right to shaving and it was fast, clean, and a great length. Women may prefer more of a salon atmosphere, but for a mans haircut you cant get much better than this.

I just moved into town and wanted to get a nice, local haircut for when I start doing interviews. The price was pretty decent, the location was nice, but more than that, the atmosphere was simply nice and friendly. It is one of the better haircuts Ive had, definitely better than when Ive gone to salons and paid like 30 bucks for a similar or even worse product. Plus the side business of costumes was a nice little perk to the scene. I will definitely be going back for a second haircut.

Ive been going to Eddies for 5 years now. I found it when I was living in Brighton, and since moving to Southie and now the suburbs still make the trip over to Eddies for my haircut. Theyre both great guys who give great haircuts for a very reasonable price. For 5 years Ive been able to get the haircut I want every time. Real nice guys who welcome anyone for a cut.

A Great Family Business. Started coming to Fast Eddies in 2009 when I lived in Allston. Great shop, great guys that work there, and Richard does a great job! Now I live in Newton and drive to Allston just for a haircut!

I am writing this review to warn people that please stay away from this Barbershop. Very bad. And all these other great reviews seem fake, because I have been here twice n both times it was a waste of time and money.
