Its like the guy didnt even listen to what I wanted and with one swipe of the scissor there goes an inch of hair. the left and right sides arent even the same length. "you want me to take it off the ears?" he asks. "no thanks" I say "keep the length". and guess whats not touching my ears? MY HAIR! first time Last time. the only reason this place has such a high rating is the same guy left two of the reviews. if you want it high and tight this is your place want something that looks good STAY AWAY! good luck!

Great service! Biggest con is that its not exactly the fastest place. Bring a book as youll probably be waiting 10-20 minutes for the haircut... but the quality of service here is better than any other barber shops in Harvard Square. Theyre cash only, but I didnt have any cash on me the first time I went and got a haircut. The guy told me to just come pay him any time during the day. That kind of trust and small-town feel makes this place stand out compared to the other assembly line places in the area.

An institution. Nick runs a Barber Shop. Simple. Like you remember. No frills, no gimmicks. Its a barbershop, with good barbers. OK, if you happen in on the right day there maybe Three Stooges or Rocky & Bullwinkle cartoons playing on the old B&W TV, but aside from that nod to culture, what you get is a haircut and some good conversation. Excellent.

This place is great. I dont know his name, but I usually get this friendly Greek-American guy to cut my hair and I never leave disappointed. I know the owner is also Greek, because of the lovely photo of the White Tower of Thessaloniki hanging on the back wall (and I asked to confirm my hunch). Highly recommended!

Just moved up to Cambridge yesterday and was on the hunt for someone to cut my hair regularly. I found the place. My hair was cut a small bit differently than expected, but it looks even better than what I had in mind. Not a bad price either ($14). Great place for a simple mens cut.

Theyre open 8-5:30 Monday-Saturday, closed Sundays. Theyre great - its a hole-in-the-wall barber shop that is inexpensive and quick. I live in Boston but I take the Red Line here to get my hair cut.

Quality barbershop with barbers who can do a variety of things--some of the guys do more traditional cuts, and some of the guys will do more modern stuff. I always leave with a clean cut
