I was a new member, and I signed up for sessions with a trainer. At first, he was fine. Another member tried to warn me about him stating, "he is a little weird." Then, a staff member who knew me saw me working out with him and asked, "Is everything going okay?" After a few sessions, I learned why they had concerns. The trainer started to think of me as a friend, instead of a client, and started arriving late and ending early. When I questioned him on it, he stated "It is policy that I am allowed to arrive 5 mites late, and if we finish the routine then we can end early." I explained that I needed help with my stretching, which we could do after the routine, and he replied that I could stretch on my own. Then, his behavior became extremely rude. He was consistently burping and passing-gas during our sessions. I asked him to stop, and he replied that he could not. The fitness manager was never there when I wanted to speak to her about my trainer. I cancelled the sessions and the membership. I do not think I am allowed to mention him by name. However, if you work out there and hear of a trainer who is a weirdo, he is the one I am writing about!

I joined this gym a few months ago and I think it is awesome. The facilities are amazing, there is never a wait for cardio equipment, the staff is very friendly and the group classes are both diverse and challenging. I have been a member at many other gyms in the Boston area, this one is far and away the best one. It is quite expensive, but it is worth the money. Both the Pilates and especially the personal training are top notch!!

The only thing I am going to say is that I walked into to this establishment with an Equnox ad for a three day complimentary guest pass; I listen to an hour sales pitch, and walked out without joining this gym and without the three day complimentay guest pass I was suppose to receive by bringing in the ad!

Larissa (yoga instructor) is absolutely fantastic. Shes great at coaching all of the students to make progress in their practice. Class is intense without pushing you past your safety limits. She has a wonderful combination of technical skills and personal warmth.
