Bonney-Cohen Wedding
While the food from Andrews is good (Ive had it many times at events that range from shul kiddish to formal weddings/bnei mitzvah), that is where the compliments end. His approach is arrogant to say the best. When my husband and I were looking for a caterer to do our wedding, Andrew immediately offered his assumptions about who we are, based on our various community affiliations and refused to accept any vision but his own as to what our wedding could look like. When we tried to correct his assumptions and offer our own ideas about our wedding, he dismissed them immediately and continued the conversation as if obviously we would go with his vision. His entitlement and arrogance were a huge turn-off and drove us to find another kosher caterer (A Perfect Taste by Neil Morris) who couldnt have done a better job for us! In addition to his poor service, Andrew charges an outrageous cost for his food. My husband ordered a breakfast from him during passover, and it cost $45 for a few pieces of fruit, one piece of matzah, a slice of pound cake, and some cream cheese. Yet, all the while, his storefront (which is in the heart of Coolidge Corner) looks like an abandoned warehouse.

Catering by Andrew did a great job at our recent destination wedding in Vermont. They were able to set up everything remotely on location and everything went off without a hitch - the food was delicious and we got many compliments from our guests, with a few saying it was the best wedding food theyd ever had. Many compliments on the carving station and cake pops in particular. The coordination in advance with Karen and tasting were also great. Thank you for helping make our wedding so delicious and memorable!
