For many years, Butcher Boy Market was my go-to place for top of the line meats. Until yesterday, I bought 3 Delmonico steaks (total weight just under 4 lbs.) at $13.99 per pound, spending just over $55.00. Unlike past purchases of Butcher Boy Delmonico & Club Steaks, yesterdays purchase did not melt in our mouths. Instead all three steaks were laced with nothing but gristle. No one could finish their steak and it was quite embarrassing the amount of gristle each person left on their plate. Either Butcher Boys quality is deteriorating or they are misrepresenting their cuts of meat. Im thinking J&B Butcher might have a new Butcher Boy customer.

My favorite butcher period!.... It can be a bit pricey but you get what you pay for, bar none the best cuts of meat and great service along with it. The butchers are great, most of them have been working there for as long as I can remember, they are very skilled at what they do, and always one on hand to help you out. They also have an awesome selection of pre-marinated meats in sealed vacuum bags made in house. To note they also have a pretty good wine and beer selection. If you try it out you wont be disappointed.

Great butcher shop! They have been in North Andover forever! Excellent marinated meats, take home to cook foods are excellent, prepared foods are delicious. There are a couple of butcheries that come close in New Hampshire for meat quality, but none have the variety of groceries and edibles not to mention an excellent wine and beer selection. It

Butcher Boy has a great selection of meats, produce, frozen prepared foods, deli, meals, spirits, bakery... Everyone knows this. But it comes at such a high price. Way over priced. I shop here a few times a year only, as my regular shopping is best done at other area markets and stores.

Excellent deli and produce departments. The bakery is has a lot of good desserts, the breads and rolls leave a lot to be desired. Its not really a butcher store since there is a limited selection of pre-cut meats of supermarket quality. Nothing dry aged or prime.

They are on there way down ! Its NOW all about the money $$$ Smaller container sizes and higher prices . I have been a customer for over 20 yrs. Not any more everything is now diluted $$$$ No thank you . 3 yrs. ago this would have been a 5 star rating .

Always top quality! These guys are pros, best butcher shop in the area! Also great deli and pastry sections. Ive been going there for over 20 years, relatives in Florida ask me to bring some frozen steaks when I visit! Thats just how good they are!

Love the people and have gone there since i was a child. Lately the quality has gone DOWN the drain. My husband and I are meat lovers and buy a lot! Things havent tasted as good and flavors are different. Wouldnt reccomend this place anymore.

Get the prime rib roast, purchase their seasoning rub and apply before roasting, follow the instructions for cooking, +_ 18min/#, and enjoy some of the best beef money can buy. Mmm good.

Best meat ever there rib dinner is better then a average massachusetts BBQ all organic fresh fruits my geusts enjoy there butcher boy dinner... expensive but worth the price LOVE IT
