Had our car repaired at Cambridge Auto Center after a fender bender over Christmas. Referred by my insurance company. All staff I interacted with were extremely friendly, personable and trustworthy. They had already received the visual estimate from my insurance company and were familiar with the case by the time I arrived. Their estimate of how long it would take to repair was correct down to the exact day I ended up picking it up. They offered to show me the car whenever I happened to be walking by in Inman Square. I called once a week for an update and they readily talked me through all the details of the work they had done that week. They even have Saturday hours which came in very useful. They have experience with all sorts of makes and models and mine had some particularly complex technology in the front end. They worked directly with my insurance company to get an updated estimate approved once the front of the car was taken apart, and my insurance company paid them directly, so I never had to make a single phone call. I could not have imagined a more seamless painless experience. I am also really happy to support a local Cambridge business that I can walk to that is still going strong in a neighborhood with skyrocketing real estate costs. The best part was I brought it in very dirty and they returned it fully detailed inside and out just as flawlessly as the day I took delivery at the dealership. It was like a brand new car.

Took my car in for oil change, winter tire changeover, alignment, and replacing the front turn signal. The guy said it would be done at 4:30pm. At 3:45pm, I get a call: "your cabin air filter is pretty dirty, have it right in front of me." I declined the service and asked if I can pick up the car now. "We still have to do the alignment, at least another hour." So instead of working on the things that I asked them to do, they spent all day picking my car apart for stuff they could try to sell me. Then I go to pick up the car the next day, sit in it, immediately realize that the turn signal is now permanently on. It takes them another half hour, they say that that was a defective bulb and they are out of stock on those. Also, they broke a lug nut while switching my tires, so I could come back the next day to get both things taken care of in half hour while I wait. Several days later, the 2 missing parts finally arrive, I wait there for 1.5 hours, the guy comes out to tell me that the lug nut doesnt fit and it will be another half hour. The pace that these guys work at is ridiculous. Oh, and they put the wrong oil in my car (works, but not whats recommended) and then he tells me to face that its all the same anyways. Will never go back.

TOOK IN MY SAAB AFTER TWO SEPARATE SERVICE WRITERS SAID THEY COULD FIX IT. HEY KEPT IT A WEEK (7 DAYS). EACH TIME I CALL TO CHECK STATUS THEY SAID THEY WERE WORKING ON IT... TWO DAYS LATER THEY STILL WERE " PULLING CODES" TWO DAYS LATER I CALL AND THE LEAD GUY THERE TELLS ME THEY ARE NOT GOING TO BE ABLE TO DO THE COMPUTER WORK. WHEN I DROP THE CAR OFF I HAD PUT A NEW BATTERY IN THE FLOOR OF THER DRIVERS SIDE. WHEN I WENT TO GET IT IT WAS IT THE BACK, ENGINE COVER WS OFF AND NEW BATTERY HAD NOT BEEN PUT IN. I HAD TO GO GET TOOLS TO PUT MY ENGINE COVER ON AND PUT THE BATTERY IN IT TO GET IT OUT AND OVER TO THE SAAB DEALER. NEVER EVER AGAIN.

Top shelf SERVICE provided. Fair price, knowledgable staff. Free shuttle service to and from the office. All the little extras that they cover without asking for them. Its not the actual work, its the comfort level of dealing with the freindly people there. Highly recommended to all my co-workers. No longer have to find a ride to work when its cold out!

I bring my car her for body work and regular oil changes. This shop is about 25 mins from house and is well worth the drive. The drive me to work downtown and will come pick me up at the end of the day. I strongly recommend that you take your car there for your service needs.
