We had a roof over done back in February of 2013. During the first major rainstorm following the work we had a waterfall coming out of our newly repainted bathroom window. The water was entering our home from a gutter that was damaged on our second story from when the roof was done. The water was entering the eaves on the second story where they installed a piece of lead flashing with no sealant on it. The water protruded into the insulated walls on the second story where it then came out of our downstairs bathroom window and also into the basement. The water has since warped our wooden floor and left horrible waters stains everywhere. We contacted Russell Pickup of Care Free Homes with concern of the insulation inside the walls going moldy. Russell assured us that the would take insulation samples from the inside of the walls and replace everything if need be, and all repairs would be completed within the two weeks before our son was born. Three weeks then passed and we had not even a received a phone call from them. I contacted Russell again and he was deferring to his uncle whom he said was supposed to contact us and was swearing on the phone with me also. Another week went by, then I received a phone call from someone named Bob who set up a time to come and take the samples from the walls for a date 2 weeks later. When I spoke with Bob, he said that I could easily get in contact with him though the main office. The date came while my wife and I were in the hospital with complications from our sons birth and I made a special trip home so that this could be remedied, and Care Free Homes was a no call no show. I contacted the main office and asked the secretary to put Bob in touch with me multiple times only to receive no call. I contacted Russell on a later day and he immediately began swearing on the phone again, and blaming Bob for not showing up! Due to the incompetence of all of their employees I asked them to not lay another finger on my house! I would not recommend this company to work on my worst enemies home! We are utterly disgusted that they would treat a family with a newborn child with such unprofessionalism!

We just had a bunch of Harvey Classic windows installed in our home on Cape Cod by Care Free Homes. From start to finish, all the people at Care Free were a pleasure to work with. No high pressure sales stuff, just thorough and efficient follow through, good communication, fair prices and excellent workmanship. We love the windows and we highly recommend Care Free Homes

Missing materials from jobs? Ask Carlos De Sousa. You misunderstand me. He certainly removed personal owners items from some jobs. Im letting you know he removed YOUR materials from jobs for himself. Go through your material lists and size of houses and youll notice the deficit. Looking out for you.
