Been a member for 6 or 7 years now. Using facilities very, very rare (it cumulates to maybe twice a month average for the length of membership). Initial membership in CO, then moved to TX where I had to upgrade and start paying more monthly for a platinum membership for a gym that had absolutely nothing more than the beautiful gym in CO. Im making my transition to MA now so I decided to go in for a workout and try the gym in this area. Got stopped at the counter and told that I dont have a membership for this location and that members here pay considerably larger amounts than what Im paying because all facilities are Diamond level( was paying $89 no commitments for platinum ). Was also told I could use the gym this one time since I didnt know but that I will be charged $30 each time afterwards. I decided to speak to a sales agent instead of working out. Hes informed me the price would be $169 monthly plus a $50 upgrading fee(?) plus another $10 ( cant remember the name of that fee). I asked if I could have him show me around a bit so I can decide if its worth paying almost double for a gym a rarely use. I asked if the fees could be waived since it makes no sense to me why a paying member should pay to upgrade. He said he had other appts but would have the sales manager show me the facilities and " I could try to sweet talk him" into potentially waiving the fees. The manager shows up looking all busy and stressed, I get a 10 mins tour in which I reiterate twice that Ive been paying religiously for years and that Id like him to waive the $50 extra charge to upgrade. Both times he tells me lifetime thanks me for my free donations( this may be funny to him but it sounds snobby for me as the paying customer). At the end of the tour he tells me hes late for an appointment and that we will discuss the charges when I decide if Im going to move here or not( didnt give him details on timeframes). I told him I would need to know in advance as his decision would help decide if canceling my membership or not. He said he cant waive it and that everyone needs to pay that fee. I left very confused and without working out . Whats happening with Lifetime lately? Are you guys so sales oriented that you completely trash out the members you already have that spent already thousands of dollars for facilities they are not using? Lets not pretend fitness clubs dont love the paying members that dont use the gyms. Its my fault for not making the time to actually using the gym. However Im not asking for anything for free. Im simply asking for a $50 upgrading fee to be waived as Im already a customer and Im not downgrading memberships but the opposite. Very disappointed with the attitude. I shouldnt have to "sweet talk " anyone into understanding what common sense business is. I shouldnt be ridiculed for "lifetime donations" and shouldnt feel like Im not as important as the any other incoming member when it comes to the sales team time. Your facilities are beautiful but my 20 mins door in-out encounter has made me realize that Id rather not work out than deal with a snobby upsale manager. Based on my experience , I wouldnt use the Framingham location in the future even if it was free of charge!

Im disgusted! We signed up back in June. We were told the only way to get the family rate would be to set up a dual checking account. I authorized i one-time payment of 78$ to my debit card for the set up fee. I was told by Scott that they would NOT withdraw any more from that account but that i needed to act quickly. Unfortunately myself and my fiance do not have the same address and we were unable to set up said checking account therefore forcing us to withdraw our membership. Not to mention she is now Pregnant and we cannot afford it. LIFETIME still decided to make an unauthorized withdrawal from the debit card today! Really????? I found it kind of funny that Scott NEVER followed up with me concerning the new account information. Its because they planned on taking money from that debit card! I was reluctant to give that debit card for the first 78$ payment but Scott assured me they would NOT touch it....BULL! Pretty bad that you guys havent even been open 24 hours and youre already taking advantage of people! That money you decided to take out of my account was for my car payment ! RUDE RUDE RUDE! Ill be sure to tell ALL my friends and family about this!

Signed up before the gym opened because it was within a stones throw of where I was working. Before the gym opened I parted ways with my employer, and was no longer in the Framingham area. Wrapped up in a job search, I didnt think to cancel within the 14-day window. A month later Ive been charged $160 for a month (Ive only set foot inside the gym once, to discuss this story with management), and Im told I still have to wait 30 days and pay a prorated fee to cancel. I spoke with the GM, he seemed sincere in saying that he couldnt do anything and recommended that I contact member relations. The effect of the email I received back was essentially "weve got your signature, so were keeping your money"; they insinuated that my reasoning wasnt strong enough for them to make an exception. And I was given a patronizing explanation of why they have rules in place. Im out $160, plus whatever proration Ill be charged for this month, and I have yet to use the facility.

Very dirty bathrooms Good afternoon I pay over $300 Every month so me and my family use a clean and beautiful gym And...Tonight is definitely not the case You pay people to clean and Refill the bathrooms The bathroom Smell really bad The showers disgusting The Jacuzzi I didnt even go in I dont want my son to be in a bathroom that is like this or my wife And I say this with the respect of going to a regular gym when the monthly payment is $20 and is cleaner than yours that its over 100+ I complain to you a while back-and you told me you had a staff problem and Is definitely not the case tonight I send you few pictures but I got lot more where those came from

This gym is absolutely gorgeous and really does not have everything you would ever want if you do not realize it. For instance most gyms I would just do weight lifting but here I have many options such as the ability to box, swim, enjoy the hot tub, do cycling, practice yoga, do squash, get a haircut, participate in running and much more. It really is great when you consider that it puts everything you ever would want in a gym in one place with high quality equipment that I have not seen at other gyms. The staff our great and friendly and they definitely do there best to ensure meet your health and fitness needs.

Worst experience ever!!! After just a few months signing up for the membership, Lifetime changed the guest passed policy to a practical joke: Guests are only allowed Monday-Friday after 5pm, and No weekend or Holidays. Sadly, I have to wait until the completion of the one-year contract to terminate my membership. I spoke to the membership consultant and was told my membership will be terminated by 9/30. A few days later, I received an email from Lifetime saying that my membership will converted to a month-to-month base starting 10/1. HOW MANY MORE LIES WILL LIFETIME TELL!!
