Im genuinely confused as to what they actually did to my car. They had my car for over two weeks and only managed to properly put on new tires and a windshield. They also worked on my rear breaks but not even a couple days after picking up my car, the brake light came on. What truly baffles me is that they managed to fix my headlights even after telling me the part they needed to fix it arrived broken and they had to re-order it. I was called on a Saturday and was told my car was ready and I could pick it up. 10 minutes later they called me back and told me my car wasnt ready and that they were unable to fix the headlights due to the broken part. During that time they also told me my car would be ready that following Monday. When Monday came around, I was called again that morning and was told that they were unable to fix the headlights because the part they reordered arrived broken again, and they would have to reorder another. The next day (Tuesday) I called again in the afternoon and they told me the part wouldnt arrive until Wednesday and my car should by ready by Thursday afternoon. They had my car for almost 16 days at this point and were unable to find the part they needed to fix my headlights; or so they have said. So, I ignored their time estimate and picked up my car that Tuesday before they were supposedly able to fix the headlight. When I picked up my car, my headlights were working perfectly fine, so I was a bit confused. Then I realized the release latch on my hood was broken, which it wasnt when I dropped it off. So I just assumed that they werent in fact waiting for the parts to fix my headlights, but instead for the parts to fix my hood, which they broke. I work for Enterprise and have dealt with a plethora of body shops and this is by far my worst experience. I paid over 1300 for them to work on my vehicle and still received horrible customer service and was fed lies through out the entire process. Currently have my car at another body shop getting my brakes worked on. I Didnt even bother trying to get refunded or reevaluated for the brake work Akiki performed because I was genuinely scared of them retaliating by doing something harmful to my car. They were transparently annoyed that I came to pick my car up earlier than they said I should have. But I only did so because they were clearly not being honest with me. Thank you for disassembling and reassembling my 2002 Jeep Liberty with 169k miles on it. ;)

The young lady I had initial contact with was really pleasant as I needed to replace my drivers side mirror for which she was working on giving me a quote - (she is the reason they received any stars from me). Since I was there I inquired about a dent in my fender and what that could cost to repair. Some guy goes out and looks at my car THEN comes back in to tell me that its 35 dollars to give me an estimate/quote if I decide to have them do the work then the 35 goes toward the repair yadda yadda yadda....its possible that this is standard practice - but I didnt like the way he said it. I also like my 35 dollars. Thankfully I remembered Id had my previous car serviced for body work at Fitzpatrick Brothers in Dorchester - I declined the 35 dollar charge drove to Fitzpatrick Brothers and they told me theyd take care of the dent no charge in addition to replacing my driver side mirror for half the quote I received at Akiki. Business is business I get it, but I also like people to be straight up with me. Go to Fitzpatrick Brothers.

Horrible shop these people are thieves. I needed to replace the fuel pump and they stole 9 gallons of gas "oh it was misplaced".They insist on doing more unneeded work than you go in for. They couldnt even use the key to unlock the gas cap. They tore it off and charged me $24.00 for gas cap and also had to replace the filler neck at an additional cost. They even punctured the gas tank. Now it leaks every time I fill it. Small claims here I come. they can go suck eggs I will never step foot on the property again. Seems like they want to try and screw everybody in the neighborhood from what Ive been told, all the way from the gas station down to the auto repair. Its a shame. They were supposed to be a local company that works with the community, not against it. They sell some of the most expensive gas on Hyde Park Ave. Its too bad!

This place is the worst, If you want to get robbed 1035 Hyde Park ave is where you go. Went in for oil change and sticker ,1200.00 later car is still not inspected! then they want to charge you 35.00 to test drive work they supposed to have fixed!!! Now a part they supposed to have fixed twice has broken again and there famous words bring it in and we have to look at it only to have the car all day again. Still no sticker after a month and a half!! The only good thing about this place is Tiffany and James , great customer service , owner / manager different story favorite word is sorry.Anyone looking for good customer service, please steal Tiff and James they dont deserve the punishment ! Akiki stale 1-10 -99999!!!

I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone! Worst place I ever been. Had to go back twice for an alignment and still havent get it done right! When money is involved youre the best costumer for them, but once its time to recognize that they didnt take pride on what they do, then youre the worst costumber and they never have "time" to assist you... I Will never go back to this place.

A week ago I ask for them to check my brakes and they told me it was fine. Today I was there and they told me I need to change my brakes as soon as possible. It looks like they cant figure out if my brakes need work or not. Or maybe they should hire people that knows what theyre doing!
