A friend said to me one day "Never use Northborough P.O." Now I know why. They have lost 3 packages this year, one of which had a $100.00 value and on the tracking order stated that it was delivered to my home. I checked with neighbors and all around my property to see if is was deliverd in a bush or behind something but it was nowhere. I was basicaly told that they do not care and to call the company. I have been given other peoples mail at least 4 times a MONTH since I have lived in Northborough. Once it was marked "Urgent" with a pharmecutical company label, so I brought it myself to the home it belonged to (just 6 houses away). I dont know if it is the sorter, or the one who delivers, but how hard is it to make sure what you put in the box is going to that house. This P.O is so automated that it relies too much on the computers to do a thorough job. As a result the employees do not check what they are doing, rather just mindlessly put whatever they have in whatever box is next. Its unforunate because peoples jobs are lost due to new technology being implemented and the cost of shipping still goes up. So we are paying more for our mail to be lost and misplaced and damaged. If the companies we purchase from use USPS and yet do not offer insurance for the "Likely" event of package or mail loss, we the customers are left with financial loss. It seems like this mistake happens far to often with the Northborough branch. Better off taking it 7 miles away to Berlin, MA, where anything I send out gets there pronto and undamaged. However the 1 postal worker that helps at the counter is very nice most of the time and when these complaints were listed and the most recent delivery to my home that belongs to someone else was brought back he nicely said, "Its not our fault its so busy here." Well, Isnt that what we are paying you for? Recomendation; Use Berlin branch or FEDEX.

Absolutely upsetting experience. Got there early in the morning to send my package. I was the only one a the time and there were two clerks at the counter already. Still, I had wait several minutes to be actually served, and oh BTW, they werent very busy neither. Complete ignorance of the customer. When I expressed my frustration I was met with vigorous vengeance. Ill be avoid this office although it is on my way to work.

This JUST happened. I called the Northborough post office, to make sure my package was on its way. She totally cut me off, told me I had the wrong number, and that my package was in the Lowell warehouse. But she didnt even know WHY I was calling. Are you kidding me?? She cut me of, and then proceeded to tell me I was wrong. Northborough P.O. sucks! Sorry.

Bob the letter carrier is hands down the greatest Postal employee of this generation. Rest of staff is good too--when its busy, its really busy, but they generally handle the flow well and are pleasant.

Decent waiting time to transact at finance window. Much better than the W Concord PO I went to last three years where they just love to talk, talk

Too many wrong deliveries. Our mails ended up to other peoples mail box, we saw many other peoples mails in our mail box, too often.

I was able to get supplies and stamps as well as mail off a priority envelope very quickly. Clerk was efficient & personable.
