I have been here 2 times now looking for a good barbershop to go to as I dont trust many people cutting my hair, the first time with Mike which the haircut was very good so I then I went a second time with Sal which was much worse. Im not a barber so I didnt know the specific numbers, but explained how I wanted it done pretty cut dry, but after asking him to change a couple of things or take more hair off he clearly was aggervated in his face so I said nvm in my head and paid over $30 for something I didnt even want just to evade the situation as I knew I would not go there again. A paying customer should never feel obligated to be content with a haircut they didnt want. As a side note the swearing in that place is crazyyy and extremely unprofessional, knowing that sometimes there are women that go there with their children and hearing the words and stories that come out is extremely unprofessional (its like this at all times).

If it were possible, I would have given 0 stars. I went to Goodfellas today with my 4 children because my 2 sons needed haircuts. Since Id never been before, I went to the desk when we arrived, where I was ignored by a barber with white hair. So we went and sat in a corner to wait our turn. After over 20 minutes of waiting (during which my 19 month old screeched 2-3 times over being strapped in the stroller), the same man came over and told me that "his customers should not have to listen to my children." Not one customer (all young guys with the exception of one older gentleman) had complained. This is a very noisy place between the TV, blow dryers, and traffic noise. But apparently children are not tolerated, although they list a price for a boys haircut.

Absolutely love this barbershop. Ive been coming here regularly now for a couple years and I have to be honest I will not go anywhere else but Goodfellas. The thing that sets this shop apart from any other is the attention to detail and the quality of the cut. Sure, you could go to Ginos and get you basic $12 cut and be on your way in 20 minutes, youll regret it. Ive been going to Sal Tortomasi regularly for my cuts and the man is a master and will always take good care of you. Ive had the opportunity to be cut by Mike as well as Vito and the quality doesnt waiver at all. Superior cuts, superior service from a group of superior gentlemen. Point blank: Goodfellas is a real class act, anything g else is just a haircut.

Recently moved to Quincy from Somerville, where I went to a great barbershop. I was worried I wouldnt find anything nearly as good, but Goodfellas was even better. To put it simply, great barbers, great atmosphere, and a great cut. Couldnt be better. Also found out they are moving across the street and expanding their services. Support local barbers...do not go to chains like Supercuts! Update: Found out this weekend that the kids from the woman with the negative review were running around and tearing magazines up, while she sat silently reading, allowing them to destroy the barbershop property. It was so bad, another customer actually got up and left. Please ignore her review, which is completely off base.

This place is as good as it gets. It is an old school barber shop, and there is a reason there are always multiple people waiting. Dont expect a signup sheet or appointments, just look around and see who was there before you. There is no better haircut around, so dont worry about who you will see. Over time you may develop a "favorite" as they get to know what you are showing up for. This is a place you bring your son with you to, not cart your entire family in and expect a Walmart type experience. If you want a haircut factory, go to SuperCuts.

Grand Master Vito has been cutting my hair for over 30 years! I followed him when he moved with his sons to open Goodfellas Traditional Barbershop. First come first serve, but the wait isnt too long. Nicely appointed, 2 big flat screens, WiFi and a friendly hello from the barbers. A truly traditional shop, sideburns and neck lathered and shaved with a straight edge. Read your favorite magazine while your hair is cut. I have stayed with Vito, knows my head better than the ex and you feel and look great after!

Worst group of barbers Ive ever come across. Mike is the only barber that will let you leave with a half decent cut, which is why the majority of the customers will be waiting for him so youll have a longer wait. Occasionally I would give up waiting and give another barber a chance and have regret it every time. Absolutely awful shop. You have a better chance getting a good cut from a student with a few months experience at the barber school next door.

Im from Quincy, I grew up here. Robs my barber, I dont let anyone else touch my head but him. Ive been coming here since the early days when it was located across Hancock Street. I have become close friends with Rob and all the guys, Vinny, Vito, Mike and Sal. If you keep coming back eventually youll feel like your part of the family. This is the best barber shop in New England Period.

Vito has been cutting my hair for over 20 years. He has given my children their first haircuts. Great to see family working together in this multi-generational atmosphere. They care about giving a great haircut and are customer oriented. Tip: Get a wonderful straight-edge razor shave. Be prepared to wait on a Saturday. However, the wait is well worth it!

They give absolutely great haircuts. Never left disappointed. Only issue is I know plenty of places who cut just as good and dont charge nearly as much. Just too expensive. Floyds in Cambridge does great work, and still charge less. And theyre in a much more expensive area. But still a great place with great work done by great guys.

This place is gold. I have had my beard hacked more times than I care to admit. Mike did a fantastic job. And I walked right in and sat down, no waiting. You cant ask for better than that, and you walk out of that place feeling like a million bucks. Even got to meet Vito... Ill be back. Thanks Goodfellas.

Cant say enough good things about these guys. They gave me the best haircut I had in years, and afterwards, let me walk down the street to the ATM to get some cash out to pay them with. Very friendly old-timey barbershop atmosphere, but the place looks brand new. Ill definitely be going back!

These 3 family ( a fourth on the way) guys are friendly, patient, above all skilled. They take appropriate time, remember your name and your cut. Sometimes you have to wait, as there is no reservations, but sitting in the classic clean bbs is a nice experince anyhow.

The Family owned Italian shop. Classic place w the best cuts around. Vito has been cutting since he was 8 and now his sons opened up a shop w him. There are 6 barbers there so the wait isnt too too bad. All have each of their own strong qualities.

Im an older guy so Ive been to more than a few barber shops in my life. The shaved head younger barber with the attitude and the constant use of his cellphone ... they should strap him in a barber chair and make him eat the phone. Putz.
