I thought I was happy at my usual barber shop, but and The Best Of Times Barber Shop has raised my standards. The attention to detail and craftmanship I encountered was fantastic. The fellas in the shop were cool and professional creating a nice atmosphere to go along with the great cut. The straight razor neck clean up makes me want to go back for a full shave and I havent been clean shaven for over a decade. My barber was Nate and he gave me the nicest cut I have ever? had! Too bad Im only visiting from the west coast, if not I would have a new go to barbershop!

Ive been a regular for over a year and have loved this place, but they just jacked up the price of a haricut by 25%. this sucks because usually i just hit the atm on the way there and $20 covers the cut and tip. now ive got to break an extra $20 when i hate carrying cash. Also, i like to get advice from my barber and usually these guys are on point, but their apprentice doesnt have a clue and was too proud to ask the other barbers opinion. in the end the guy just cleaned up the sides and still charged full price. im definitely not going back

The best haircut I have ever received, o have never had a barber take so much time to make sure my haircut was wonderful, the longer wait times are worth it because you know its only taking mine because they take the time to make every cut perfect. The staff are very friendly and talented. Without a doubt the best place in Dover to get your haircut, perhaps even in all of New Hampshire.

This place was awsome, never had I been to a barber shop where everyone is wearing uniforms, let alone 1930s esque. It had a bit of a hipster vibe at first but hey hipsters got good hair. Went in there and got a celebrity quality cut for cheap. They even cleaned me up with a straight razor. Awsomr place, looking foward to going back.

Old school cool. Best of Times Barbershop, by far the best shop in the city. Clean, well run and all 4 barbers are top notch. I stumbled into this shop on a whim one day while needing a haircut and have been an every other week regular ever since. Josh and co. make everyone feel comfortable and its appreciated.

Great service and stylish haircuts. Would totally recommend to a friend. -1 star for the long lines. Taking time to do a good job is commendable but having people wait over an hour for a cut is bad business. Hire more staff, increase prices, or ask barbers to cut faster during rush hours.

Probably the best barbershop Ive been to. The attention to detail outweighs not getting a wash after the haircut. Great atmosphere. Good tunes. Sharp dressed dudes. Just plan on an hour and a half block of free time, as there is always a wait to get a worthwhile haircut.

CASH ONLY. Old timey feel and look to the place, guess its in the name. Haircuts take a long time. Barbers spend a lot of time chatting and talking, but it is a quality haircut. I would recommend getting there as early as possible because the lines get long, fast.

Best of Times Barbershop is the ONLY place my son will go to get his hair cut. We travel from Manchester to Dover for their services..and its ALWAYS worth the drive! My son gets a great cut and I get to enjoy the old fashioned respectful atmosphere. 5 stars!!

Extremely attentive to detail, these guys really go the extra mile to give you the best cut and shave they can provide all at very reasonable prices. Only slight drawback is that its cash only, other than that I would highly recommend checking these guys out!
