For the record, Im going to start this off by saying I have never left a review on any business before in my life. However, I think is important to let readers know my experience at this shop. I went here for a routine oil change, filled out the paperwork with my info (phone number, email, etc). The man who seemed to be in charge let me know my inspection sticker was expiring soon, and I should come back to get it done. I said great maybe in a few weeks. Everything seemed to go well and I was on my way. Due to the fact I left my phone number he called me a few weeks later to see if I wanted to come back to get a new inspection sticker. Now... to be completely honest, I live almost an hour away from this shop and wasnt planning on ever going back. I went for the initial oil change because they were convieniently close to one of my stops for work. Since Im in customer service, I said to myself "wow this guy really is showing some great service reaching out to me to get my inspection sticker done in time." So what did I do? I drove back an hour to get the sticker from this particular gentlemans shop, and he gives me a REJECTION sticker for a bubble the size of a penny on my tire. In my past experience getting inspection stickers people that work there almost ALWAYS let you know before you pay them if youre going to pass or not. He did not do so and completely inconvienced the pat 3 month of my life with my car due to the fact Ive been driving around with a rejection sticker because I was forced to get 4 new tires and couldnt just get the 1. Long story short, theyre in it for a quick buck and not long term customers, which I couldve been. Go elsewhere.

I lost my rear brakes unexpectedly while driving to work one morning. I was only a few miles away from work and was wondering what to do. Then i remembered that there was a service station just up the road where Ive been to to have my car inspection done. I am always leery about getting ripped off by repair shops I have no experience with. But this time I had no choice as my car was undriveable. Fortunately, they were able to service my car that day and also had the parts on hand. In addition, they dropped me off at my work. By 4pm my car was ready at a price much less than quoted. Their tech really knows what he is doing. My brakes have been working fine since Overall, I am happy at the service provided by Southboro Auto Tech and would feel comfortable using them in the future. I only wish they had public WiFi so i could check into work while i am waiting. .

My girlfriend brought in her 2003 Volvo V70 to have front brakes done. For the pads, rotors hoses (plus brake cleaner and brake fluid) she was charged $475.53 (just for the parts, not including labor). I asked why such an extremely high price and was told that he doesnt use NAPA or CAP ("those types") because he says he hasnt had good experience with them and only uses "premium" parts with Volvo cars. Yeah right, whatever! Mind you, this is a 14 year old vehicle!!! BTW, the most expensive versions of pads, rotors and hoses on NAPAs website adds up to $174.97. Oh, and they have a sign on their shop saying they use NAPA parts. One last thing. A woman was in front paying for work that was done as I walked in. She was "concerned" about the cost (ridiculous was what her friend said). Coincidence? Doubt it.

I had my car towed here for a repair. The repair ended up being some coolant sensor issues. The staff were very friendly, but they kept the car for 3 days and then I ended up paying twice the cost of the parts for labor for a total of 3x the cost of the parts. Their communication was very poor as well, they did not call to confirm that they were replacing parts and I also had to call to confirm that I could pick the car up several times after they told me they would "call me back with an update in 20 minutes", which never happened. Overall the quality of the repair was good, but because of their service I would not recommend them.

Offers corporate discount on labor to Bose employees, and they were gracious enough to give me a courtesy ride to work as well!

Nice guys but extremely overpriced. $220 for a battery? Also waited over 2 hours on a separate occasion for an oil change.
