Joe Tingley, the Colonial Chem-Dry technician from the Upton, MA office phoned me about fifteen minutes before arriving and he was right within the time frame quoted to me when I made the appointment. I made the appointment just three days prior to the cleaning which I appreciated since I thought this was a quick turnaround time for my purposes. Joe looked around in a timely manner and went over the price and details of the job with me. He discussed the carpet protection which would have added an additional $75.00 to the job. He said because the carpet had only been cleaned twice before and the installer told me the original protection on the carpet would last about three cleanings, I would not need protectant. I appreciated that he didn’t try to pressure me into getting additional services since I had expected to pay what was originally quoted to me on the phone. While I cleared some items in the two rooms to be cleaned, he prepared all the materials he needed at one time and this cut down the total time to complete the job down quite a bit. During the job, Joe was thoughtful enough to mention he would have to keep the door open in case I was concerned my dog would run out the door. Overall, my experience with the Colonial Chem-Dry in Upton, MA was exceptionally positive! While the cleanings are a bit expensive, they are worth it. The technician was friendly, curtious and very concerned about doing a good job and providing high quality service. The carpets came out amazingly clean too. I have invariably found this Colonial Chem-Dry to have exceptional technicians, service and quality and this time was no exception!

I had Colonial Chem Dry come out to pick up my oriental rugs. They have a great service where they come out and move your furniture and take the rugs with them where they are able to clean them more thoroughly than they could in my house. I moved some of the light stuff but wasnt able to move the couches. When they came they were able to move the couches around by themselves and get the rug out with ease. When they got the rug out of the house they pointed out that I had a slight worn and dirty pattern on my hardwood floor that went from the door to the rug, then it stopped where the rug was, and then it started again from the rug to the kitchen. I had no idea that it was there until the rug was gone. So come to find out they are able to fix it. The guy that picked up the rug called up his office and scheduled an appointment to clean and put some kind of special finish down. A week later my rug came back nice and clean. Im definitely glad that they pointed out my floor, I would have thought that it had to be sanded down and refinished but I was able to get it done before they were even able to bring the rug back.

I have had them come and clean many carpets ...always professional and the main thing: they get the job done!!! Meaning: the carpets are clean, no residue and no "old" spots that seem to stay forever. ALSO, I purchase from Colonial Chemdry their carbonated Carpet Cleaner (in a can that you simply spray on the spot) ... with a clean white paper towel (thats what I use), the spot is gone! I have purchased cans for my family across the country and they are huge fans, too! I supply all new tenants with a can of this carpet cleaner and instructions and I am confident that when the tenant moves out, the carpets are spot-free... Also, if I may, Colonial Chemdry has the BEST customer service. You really feel like you are important --and you are because they see you as important. Speedy service, always a smile on the other end of the phone if you call, just a great company to rave about (and their products!).

While looking out my window, I noticed the ChemDry truck at my neighbors across the street. Knowing that my carpets were in need of a good spring-cleaning, I called my neighbor and asked her if she would ask the technician if he had time to give me an estimate. She called back to let me know hed be over as soon as he was done at her house. A little later there was a knock at my door, and Phil introduced himself and asked what I needed done. He measured the areas I wanted cleaned and gave me an immediate estimate. Phil was very pleasant, courteous and thoroughly explained all the options and each step of the process. I was thrilled when he said he had the time to do it right then! I couldnt be happier with the results - my carpets look amazing and my house smelled wonderful! Couldnt recommend more highly, and ask for Phil!!!

I had my carpets cleaned by Colonial Chem-Dry...WOW!!! What a difference! All of the pet stains are completely gone from the front hallway, and in particular, there was a spot that was a mix of hair products and body powder stuck into the carpeting in front of a vanity, which I could not get out with regular spot removers, and I had tried them all...and in just that ONE CLEANING, their amazing all-natural cleaning solution got it all out! I was so happy when I saw that fresh, clean spot that I did a little dance of joy! I am looking forward to having the technician come back to do the other two rooms that I have...THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!!!!

The technician was extremely nice and very thorough. And the carpets looked so much better after. I had to leave to take my kids to a class and the technician left me notes when he was done, explaining a few extra things. And I was very impressed when the owner of the company showed up during the service to do a quality control check. And I received a personal hand-written thank you note after from our service rep. Everyone we dealt with was extremely nice and thoughtful. They take their business seriously and do an excellent job. I would highly recommend them!

Weve had Colonial come by many times over the years. The person booking the appointment is always polite, friendly and professional, as is the cleaner. They show up on time (and call you when theyre on the way). Do an excellent job. It always costs more than Im prepared for, but coupons help, and given how good everything always looks -- and how hard the guys work -- its worth it. Most recently, Phil Lambert did an excellent job. In a word: reliable.

Basically, I hired Colonial Chem Dry to do an "exorcism" of my college student sons bedroom carpet. Four years of scary food and beverage stains, that had been hidden beneath gym equipment, school supplies and laundry. Yes, this is embarrassing... But, Joe T from Chem Dry came to the rescue! The carpet has its original color and stains removed. Customer Service was great: Called one day, carpet was cleaned the next.
