We got there for an associates birthday lunch at 11:45. First, the snotty little host copped an attitude because we didnt want to be sitting on top of the ONLY other party sitting there. By 1:05 we still didnt have our meals. The place was filled now and everyone around us had been served. They told us it was because of the size of our party...7 of us...3 of the orders were salads. We arent talking complex meals to make. Finally after being told a number of times our order was next, we got up, went to pay for our sodas, and the manager did end up comping our lunch BUT we are all sitting at our desks eating it, not celebrating with our friend. Do not go here for lunch unless you have at least 3 hours. Also, the food is very so-so and very expensive for what it is... 2 tacos for 8.99...cmon now....

Our waters took forever to get. Then the actual drinks were slow. Our waiter was indifferent. When we finally got our food (which was good), I asked the server (tiny blond) for spicy salsa and she pointed to the cholula on the table and goes "theres hot sauce right there". Good thing Im not a violent person! I was so angry at how rude she was. When i complained to our waiter, brian (who btw looks like the stoner college kid drug-dealer from Harold and Kumar) he didnt apologize and our service got worse. we waited, literally, 25-30 minutes for our check. We (a party of 9 ) were about to dine & ditch! NEVER GOING BACK HERE AGAIN.

Absolutely disgusted by my entire experience at Margharitas in Waltham. to begin, we waited over 30 minutes to be seated. Once seated we were served STALE chips. no one ever checked in - except 45 minutes after being seated to tell us our food was made "but our table couldnt be found" and now the food was missing. management did absolutely nothing to mediate the problem. this also happened to a table next to us- but those ladies made the mistake of waiting. we on other hand, refused to wait. thanks for ruining my sunday night. never returning. poor excuse for a restaurant... incredibly disappointing given the ideal location.

I was excited about going to Margaritas. When I picked up the menu, I noticed that many dished dont come with sides such as rice and beans--you have to pay extra on top of the hefty prices. Because I was starving and already there, I decided to get a a taco plate and pay for the extra rice and beans. When the plate came out, my tacos were small and I got 2 teaspoons of rice and 3 teaspoons of beans. I was insulted that their plates and sides were sooo small. On top of that, teh quality of the food was not great. The rice has not great seasoning and is topped with raw onions and cilantro...so un-mexican.

Horrible horrible horrible. We had a party of 10 with a reservation for 1230 and we showed up on time restaurant just about empty. Table was not set up. We wait and are seated. 10 min till server came for drinks, then we were at our table with drinks and chips for over 45 min before our order was even taken. 1 and a half hours before food even came and it had been like it was sitting under a heat lamp for an hour. All sauces were driving and hard. By the time we all had our food and ate. It was 2 and a half hours of my life I cant get back. Worst lunch experience I have had in a long time.

Ive been wanting to try this place out for awhile now because it looks so cute from the outside (and for some odd reason, always crowded). The "some odd reason" is because the food was disgusting! First off, my husband and I had to wait 20 minutes just to get our drinks. (how hard is it to bring us water?) My daiquiri was lame. We ordered a queso appetizer and enchiladas and both were nasty. I felt so sick afterwards. The food didnt taste like authentic Mexican food at all. The only thing that tasted good was the chips but this place is not worth going to at all!!

If youve been to a Margaritas this is pretty much on par with the others. Ive been a patron of the chain for over 20 years. Its not what Id call authentic Mexican but it is consistently good. I like the free chips and salsa, it causes me to start the Moody Mile with my friends here as we usually dont get food until later in the evening so the chips/salsa are a good hold. Amazing Margaritas, I always get a spicy one with muddled jalapeños. Views of the river from this location.

Rica comida, lindo local, buena atención, baños impecables; les daría 5 estrellas, pero éramos un grupo de 9 personas y se demoraron más de lo habitual con uno de los platos por lo que todos tuvimos que esperar mientras se enfriaba la comida.

Margaritas on a summer day is one of my favorite lunch spots in Waltham. The back patio is very nice and looks over the Charles River and has many umbrellas to keep the sun out of your eyes. The food is average Mexican food and is reasonably priced. The quesadillas are very good, and they serve chips and salsa for free before the meal.

One of the best Tex-Mex/Mexican restaurants in Boston. I love their huge portions, fresh chips and salsa and wonderful drink specials. Their food is very authentic and everything on the menu is delicious. Go for anything with avocado or guacamole here. Ask the servers what is good and they wont disappoint with their recommendations.

My local watering hole, I have my bakery near so it seems Im here at least once a week, the staff is great remembering your favorite drink but also pick out some tasty ideas to one of you friends that you might bring with you that doesnt know the names of drinks as well. All in all a decent place but the staff make the difference.

Great food. Great drinks. Terrible management. Waited an hour for a table when many were open because the kitchen couldnt keep up with a restaurant 25% full. Told the wait was 20 mins and it ended up being 1.5 hours after talking to the manager twice. Will not return. They have lost a customer that use to boast about them.

If youre in the mood for someplace bright and fun, then Margaritas is a good choice. The food is not exceptional, but still quite tasty and worth the price. One of my favorite dishes is the Enchildas Banderas. Drinks are strong and generous, and the atmosphere is lively. Service is very friendly and efficient.

Coming here is usually a good time. The food is descent and the service is pretty good. They always get a good weekend croud. I love changing out at the bar. Since they have a touch tunes jukebox. You can get the app and pick songs from your phone. Thats what I do every time.

Went there for lunch one day and experienced terrible service. After ordering a drink, the waitress did not return for 30 minutes. Instead, a party of 10 that came in after me and sat next to me received special attention and treatment. I guess they were more profitable.

Margaritas is OK. The food has been fine, although limited in breadth and not real mexican. The decor is ok. Our chief gripe is the value -- we often pay as much or more compared to other restaurants locally with better food and experience.
