We took our van in because most of the lights on the driver side, including the trailer package, were either not working, or staying on all the time. When they called, they told us it was the instrument cluster and they could put in a good used one for $260.00. They said the rear brake bulb was burned out. (I had bought new bulbs but when I checked it, it was good) I asked if the trailer light plug was working, I was told it was all part of the cluster problem, but that they would “recheck it’. When the van was ready, (a day later than they told us because they could not find the part) we were told that they had found a couple of wires needed to be spliced on the trailer harness. We were charged an additional $80.00 to splice these wires. (Part of the original problem we took it in for) After we picked up the van, the remote starter, that worked the morning we took the van in, did not work. Also, the trouble light for ‘low tire pressure’ came on and will not reset. We took it back for them to repair, after keeping it for 7 hours, they called and said it wasn’t anything they did, and we should take it somewhere else. We were told the sensor on the wheel might be bad. This vehicle (2003 Windstar) does not have sensors in the wheels, it uses wheel speed comparison to sense low pressure. So, my lights now work, but my remote starter doesn’t, and I have to look at a warning light all the time, and all for the low price of $425.00 My first (and last) experience with Bill Ritchie was not a good one.

OVER THE YEARS, BILL HAS : SAVED US TONS OF MONEY OVER DEALERSHIP REPAIR ESTIMATES; FOUND ELECTRICAL SHORTS THAT OTHERS COULD NOT FIND; ALWAYS GOT IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME, SO WE DIDNT NEED TO WASTE TIME ON UNNECESSARY RETURN TRIPS: EVEN GIVEN US GOOD ADVICE WHEN IT WAS TIME TO RETIRE A TROUBLE-PRONE OLDER VEHICLE. FOR MANY YEARS, I HAVE REFERRED TONS OF PEOPLE IN NEED OF AUTO REPAIR, TO BILL RITCHIE, ALWAYS WITH THE EXPECTED , HIGHLY SATISFIED RESULT. HAD IT WITH HACKS, SHADY , OR FLY-BY NIGHT REPAIR PLACES? TRY THIS HONEST, EXPERT, FAMILY OWNED/RUN BUSINESS, THEY ARE "SIMPLY THE BEST"!!!

I live in Jackson and took my truck to a local mechanic whose service was terrible. I heard of Bill Ritchie through a mutual friend so I gave them a call. I drove over an hour away to drop off my truck. Once their service was complete the truck was good as new. I was very pleased with their customer service. Since then I have also purchased 2 used vehicles from Bill Ritchie and my experience was excellent! After a month one of my vehicles had an issue and I called in and they did not hesitate to take care of the issue. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. My vehicles will no longer go to another shop.

My daughters air conditioner went out, I called them told them what we were hearing. They said it sounded like a relay, the air or the heat did not work . I took it to their business, it was exactly what they said it was. part ordered, fixed the same day couldnt ask for any better service. Nancy will charge u big time if u get out with less then $300 its a miracle from God she charges for a smile lol 1 ground. Bolt was $300 u would think this 40 year family business is friendly 1st time yes 10 years ago $60 second time $180 labor they give me a $900 estimate. Was fixed for $600 they didnt put car back together hand me parts in bag the guy is fare she is a thief

Very nice and professional people. Theyre also extremely fast and are straight with you about whats wrong with your vehicle and how much itll cost. Ive had them fix a few things on my car, and compared to other places they are very reasonable in their pricing. I truly feel like they know what theyre doing and they do it exceptionally well.

My Brakes went out thurs night, and I had to have it towed over to Bill Ritchies, and I reallllly needed my car fixed fast , Since my other vehicle was also in need of repair , Bill was able to squeeze me in and he had my car up and Ready The very next day on friday , Thanks to the great Team you have. My experience with Bill Ritchie Complete Vehicle Auto Repair was great. They were very honest and upfront with me. I found there prices to be fair and less expensive then other auto shops and would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to have work done on there vehicle.

They fixed the switch and cable out that changes where heat comes out. It was stuck on panel and couldnt defrost the windows. All things done about 90 minutes tops. Also USB plug blew and needed to be replaced. Less than $200. Extremely nice and I will return for yearly once over!
