After noticing a fluid leak at the front of my car I took it to this Midas shop to have an oil change and to check for this fluid leak. I told them it appeared to be leaking from the radiator. The technician diagnosed this as a power steering leak from the boot on the steering rack, which he said would have to be replaced. They gave me an estimate and I went home. Once I got home I noticed a lot more fluid leaking and the transmission started to act up. I called midas back and asked to talk to the technician to confirm he found a power steering leak, not a transmission leak. He confirmed it was a power steering leak. I thought this was strange that I would have two major leaks within hours of each other and asked if he had checked and topped off the transmission fluid. He admitted he had forgotten to check the transmission fluid. I was able to get the vehicle to another shop were they found the transmission line into the radiator had blown out and was the source of the transmission leak. Clearly this was the source of the orginal leak. It is likely that if midas had properly diagnosed the source of the leak, I would not be replacing my radiator now since it may have been as simple as tightening the fitting into the radiator to stop the leak before it blew off and stripped the threads off. Very disappointed in their capabilities - clearly will not be going back.

Went there for a part replacement a few months ago and they were okay. They helped me get home which I appreciated and felt they cared about customer service. However, I just walked in to drop off my car for a bearing replacement and the manager was beside himself. I understand it was the end of the day and you are probably tired, I get that. I just wanted a ballpark estimate to install two wheel bearings, thats it. If someone gives you their car information, you should be able to spit out a high and low number fairly easily. I do not want to be told there might be hidden costs for various reasons. That makes customers, who already have a hard time trusting mechanics, not trust you. I walked out because I did not feel comfortable leaving my car in his hands. Even though he did a good job in the past that does not give him the right to relax on his customer service. Again, I understand it was a long day but you have to finish strong. Please let this be known that just because you build a customer base once that does not mean you have a customers trust forever. I was just about to spend about $500 and that just walked out of his door due to the inability to give me a straight answer. Im taking my money elsewhere. It is rotten too because they were decent before but they failed this trivial task of quoting, such a shame.

WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN. My car was stalling and had acceleration issues. They had no idea what was really wrong with it and kept guessing and racking up my bill. After taking it back twice for the same issues, they said they would fix it for free on them. Left it with them for a week! They said they were leisurely working on it in between other orders. They never called with any updates, time tables, or what was actually wrong with it. I had to keep calling and they kept saying, "maybe tomorrow." I finally gave them a deadline or i would need to have a rental. I showed up today and the car wont even start now. They took it on a 30 mile joy ride to make sure it was running correctly and they ended up breaking something else. So after three weeks, the original issues have not been fixed and they broke something else on it. They refunded my money and basically washed their hands of me. They wont pay for the tow i need, or fix what they have now broke. The engine wont even turn over. AWFUL SERVICE HERE along with AWFUL CUSTOMER RELATIONS. I will be getting a lawyer.

I was reluctant to go there for an oil change because I felt that in the past they have tried to upsell me. My husband encouraged me because he had a $10 off coupon and they did a free tire rotation. The person I contacted for an appointment asked if I needed conventional or synthetic oil. I told him I believed the car required synthetic. He did not explain that there were two options and automatically charged me for the most expensive option, $64.99. When I questioned him about using the coupon he had a difficult time applying it. After applying the coupon the total was still $65 because a $7.42 charge for "shop supply" mysteriously appeared. The salesperson was unable to explain what "shop supply" was. Ironically they were unable to do the tire rotation.

I called Midas to get my brakes looked at, because I had a estimate from another repair shop that I felt was to high and not sure if i really needed all that was quoted. Jim the new manager said he would get me right in and get it checked out. I told him what was quoted from other repair shop, and they got the car in and checked out. Jim explained to me that I didnt need all that was quoted because I still had "brake life" left in the rear brakes. They fixed my car for a lot less than the quote from other shop and got me in and out in about an hour and a half. I would Highly recommend this shop.

I stopped in on my way home due to some front end trouble I was having. The manager and his crew were extremely friendly and knowledable. They all went out of their way to answer any question I had. I ended up getting my oil changed while I was there and came back at a later date for the rest of the work. Great bunch of guys that seem like they really enjoy the work they do and the relationships they build with their customers. I will definitely be back when I need service. I wish I could give a higher rating than just 5 stars.

These knuckleheads lost my brake fluid reservoir cap and didnt tell me. Called them about it the next day and was hung up on. ("I was just wondering where my brake fluid cap went, please?" "Uuhh..." *click*) Real cute. Also, a warning to ladies and younger drivers-- you will be talked down to, minimized, and high pressured into spending money on things you do not need. Because God forbid you know anything about cars other than where the key goes.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER, BY STORE MANAGER! I have been here twice. The Manager is a complete jerk, his tone of voice and attitude toward me was like I was an inconvience both times. I thought it might just be me because of my car and age, but another customer came in his 60s and he got the same. He couldnt even get words out of his mouth before the Manager snapped at him. I WOULD NEVER GO THERE AS HE IS WHO YOU WILL DEAL WITH EVERYTIME.

Went in for my exhaust being loud without having a appointment. Manager told me no problem he would get me right in. They checked out my vehicle and found out that I had a broken pipe. Instead of charging me big bucks to replace the whole pipe, they cut out the bad section and reinstalled a new pipe at a great price. Highly recommend this place to everyone. They are under new management and it shows. Thanks again guys.
