I have been going there for at least five and maybe seven years. I feel I have they have always been honest with me and charged a fair price. Never felt like I was being ripped off or pushed to buy something I didnt need. Ive strayed a few times and gone to other repair shops but have always returned to ICAR. Several times Ive called other repair shops for a repair quote over the phone and ICAR has beat their quote by a few bucks and once by more that $100. Humble repair shop with good people.

We moved to the area in June of 2011. We have been taking our cars here since that time. We have older vehicles with lots of wear and all way over 100,000. In fact 2 are close to 200,000 miles. They always treat us with respect. They always are fait with prices. When they repair something its repaired! Love this place. They keep are vehicles on the road. They also dont screw around and keep our vehicles for days on end. Thank You Imlay City Auto repair!

They will replace parts that you did not ask for. I had an issue with a timing chain and I had already self diagnosed this. They replaced the idle control valve. This caused another issue and the car became non-functional after 1 day. The owner refused to believe that was the issue but guess what, it was. I could not dispute the charge as my wife had already paid it. I went elsewhere for the timing chain. I will never return. AVOID!!!!

They were so helpful and honest! I have to write about them. Our crv was giving us some problem and we had just started out on our road trip. I read the reviews and met with them. They fixed our car and we were on our way within an hour. They could have really twisted our arm and....but they didnt and I feel so good. I wish them the very best!

Terrible repair shop you take your vehicle in tell them what you want them to fix they keep the car for 2 or 3 days when you coming to pick it up they tell you that they didnt fix anything on your car but maybe one item on a list you gave them to fix not happy at all I will never go there again

Prompt professional staff. The only fix what is they are asked too instead of trying get enough money to retire from each customer. Very important for auto repair shops to be honest. This place is.
