Purchased a used minivan and after about a month of light driving my rear brakes began having a terrible noise and strange vibration in the pedal. I brought my van requesting replacement brakes/rotors and expecting a $200-$400 brake job but the mechanic brought it back out to me and informed that a piece of hard plastic had somehow jammed in the brake drum and was causing the problem and the brakeset was in good condition and relatively new. Most other places probably would have seen that situation and continued with the expensive repair but these guys just charged me the labor for cleaning up the rotor. Good to have a trustworthy mechanic again.

I had no problem with A/C, but it became weak after 3 years of no recharging. 13&Crooks recharged for around $50, but all freon was gone in one week. I went back and they told me there is a leak (there was no leak for 3 years and their CHECK A/C SYSTEM FOR LEAKES showed no leaks at my one week prior visit) They wanted to charge $250+ to repair the leak they made. Technicians CAMBELL, PAUL and TAYLOR, DAVID. Be aware!

I have low mileage car. Dealer told me I only needed new pads but their costs are really high. So I called this place for an estimate and the guy that answered the phone quoted me for new pads AND rotors. I replied that I only needed new pads. He said that the pads and rotors are replaced together, not just new pads. Not true. It was 2 to 3 times the cost of just new pads. I guess Ill be calling Pep Boys.

These guys are the real deal. Ive taken both mine and my wifes cars here repeatedly and everytime Ive been in there they have done a really excellent job. I believe they even saved me from doing pointless repairs I was asking for on one old car when they could have probably ripped me off a bit. Thats how you should do business right there. Ill be back again and cant recommend them enough.

I have been taking the family "fleet" (new cars and teen cars included) here for years. They always do an excellent job of repairing our vehicles no matter what the issue presented. They are kind and fair. They take the time to point out items that need to be watched, but can be repaired in the future. They are the quintessential hometown gas station.

Recently took my car in here for an oil change and to make sure there were no upcoming safety issues prior to a long trip. I had an appointment and they were very prompt about taking my car in when I arrived. Start to finish it only took them a half an hour to both check my car and do the oil change. I will definitely be taking my car here again!

This place is great! Purchased new tires at a lower rate than Bell Tire or Sears was offering and had them installed in under 30 minutes. I can look up my service history at any time with their online system and see when my next services should be scheduled. Very fair and honest. Took both our cars there after Belle Tire gave us a hosing. Very knowledgeable, very thorough. They actually diagnose issues instead of throwing new parts at it in an attempt to guess the problem. They really care about the customer and treat you right!

These guys overcharged my buddy about $350 on a catalytic converter. His family had been taking their cars there for at least 15 yrs. I wont even get gas here anymore
