My car was recently serviced at Melvindale car care. Jack and his crew were extremely accommodating, and allowed me to tow my stalled car into the shop a day earlier than my original appointment. They had my alternator (and other problems) fixed within hours, and kept me posted throughout the repair. They saved me hundreds of $$ (original Honda dealership estimate on new/installed alternator = $650...Jack quoted me about half that amount). The car drives phenomenal now, and I am extremely please and impressed. Ive never experienced or witnessed a car repair shop with so much courtesy and respect. I would definitely not hesitate to do business with Melvindale car care again. If you are looking for an honest, respectful, and accommodating car repair shop, look no further

Theyve failed to replace a simple power steering pump to my Ford Windstar, the new one kept failing and I had to return the car to their shop twice, and every time the car was getting worse ... I had to buy a new pump from (Advance Auto Parts) myself and took it to another repair shop to fix it for me, the car works like magic ever since. Ive wasted $330 and valuable time just to replace a pump, and they couldnt even do it... And the other shop charged me for $100 and did a good job (that was almost 2 months ago, no complaints since). The only reason I didnt give them 1 star is their positive attitude towards their customers, I can still go back there once more for an oil change or something, but, rather than that, I wouldnt recommend them for serious car repairs.

I love this place. Jack is very respectful & honest. He will make sure he knows whats going on with your car and give you a reasonable price. I wont go any place else to get my car fixed. Im a female Veteran and I have a 2008 Hyundai Elantra and it was this loud squealing noise coming from the engine area. Jack checked it and told me it was one of my pulleys, but didnt know which one because the noise would come and go. He told me to come back when the noise gets a little louder. Now he could have made up a lie & told me anything, but he didnt. I brought my car back month later and is was my AC Tensioner (pulley). He gave me a reasonable price, fixed it, i also received a Veterans discount, and now Im good to go. Honesty will get you far. Ty Jack!!!

Recently, I had a problem with the a/c in my mini-van. The problem was intermittent, with the a/c blowing cold for awhile and then blowing warm. Turns out it was a leak in one of the Freon lines. It took two visits to MCC to locate the leak and then order the needed parts. On the third visit the parts were installed and I was out of there in an hour. The guys at MCC know what they are doing-professional in their approach to the problem and taking care of it in a timely and cost effective manner. At the same time they are customer oriented, friendly and courteous. I will continue to have my cars taken care of at MCC, a place you can trust.

I have been going to Melvindale Car Care for years, and I wont go anywhere else even though I moved twenty miles away. They are the BEST! They always take good care of me. They are honest, fair, dependable and ready to fix my car even if I dont have an appointment. They never take advantage of me being a single woman who doesnt know about cars; in other words, they NEVER tell me I need repairs if I really dont. They fix only whats wrong with my car at the time. Jack and his mechanics are always pleasant and very patient with me. I recommend Melvindale Car Care to everybody!!

I have been coming to Melvindale radiator for about 10 years now and they have always be upfront and honest with me in regards to everything with my vehicles. Over the last year I moved to Washington DC area and even though I would not be a paying customer they still offered to help me find a mechanic that is certified through their associations! WHAT A GREAT PLACE. THESE GUYS ARE REALLY SPOT ON!! I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE NEEDING ANYTHING DONE TO THEIR VEHICLE. You could not ask for a more reliable and kind place to deal with.

Always fair and honest. Ive taken my vehicle to Melvindale Care Care a few times, and on the last visit, simply asked if theyd ever installed a headlight on a Prius because the dealer wanted to charge almost $300. They hadnt dont it before, but were seemingly curious if they could do it cheaper and faster. Did they ever! In less than 30 minutes, the new bulb was replaced. Against my wishes, they would only charge me for the bulb, NO LABOR! Where else do you get service like that. Thanks for saving me $300! Well be back for sure.

I have started going to Melvindale Car Care for the last 6-7 months. I needed brake work done, and they charged me less than any other place. They have done outstanding work, and they stick to their Warranty. I had my car again in, due to a noise I heard in the Front End. They looked at it, and recommended to wait on replacing anything. And on top of it, they did not charge me. I was willing to pay for the Diagnostics and the Check up, but they did not charge. I will for certain recommend this place to all my friends now.

Quick, honest service. I had two vehicles repaired there; one was extended warranty work and the other straight pay. Vehicles were very clean in the repair area (no oil, coolant or grease left over from the repairs) which is very important to me. I would go back in the future OR feel confident that they would treat my wife well if she went to them when I was deployed. It definitely wouldnt hurt to call or go see them for your auto repair questions or concerns. Thank you Melvindale Car Care!

I recently moved to the area and was in need of car care. Searching the web I came across Melvindale Car Care. The owner was very helpful and answered all of my questions. He was honest and straight forward and made me feel comfortable and confident about putting my car in their care. The service was speedy and the prices were great. Melvindale Car Care has become my Go-To car repair shop and I would definitely recommend this shop to friends and family.

Weve had two recent visits at Melvindale Car Care. Both times we were very happy with the service. Jack, the owner, is very honest and forthright. When we decided against some service to our older car, he agreed with us and did the rest of the service we needed without trying to talk us into it. He strikes me as very honest and fair. He does good work. What more could you want from a mechanic (or anyone)?

This place is outrageously expensive. I live in Canada were everything is expensive, so I called these guys to get a price They quote me, much to my surprise, $1200 to install a transmission I already had. The dealer who has factory trained techs, and all the tools was only $800.00 In Canada I had a transmission shop do the work for $750.00 Check out Canada when you need work done
