Where do I begin... My husband took our vehicle in Auto Pro - Clinton Township for hesitation and losing power. They started off saying that it was $40 for the diagnosis fee and then later said it would be $189 because they believe its something in the driveshaft. So he gets a callback saying that its the driveshaft and some other things and cost $1600 to repair. Are you ridiculous. My husband tells him thats too much and they lowered the price to $980 plus tax. Now my first reaction is why are they lowering the price this much. Anywho after the repairs are done they call my husband and says the vehicle is still hesitating and they believe the catalytic converter is clogged will be another $800 my husband ask the guy Sunny is it doing the same thing when he brought it in. Sunny of course acted clueless and said the mechanic that worked on the vehicle wasnt there so he wasnt sure. My husband goes and picks up the vehicle and sure enough the problem is not fixed. My husband calls and speaks with Sunny and now he is saying that the mechanic didnt feel safe to test drive the vehicle so how did you determine whats wrong. I mean when I told people its was the driveshaft nobody could understand how. I dont know anything about cars but I do know about mechanics that try to scam people I worked as a region case manager at VW corporate. So I know a thing or two about taking action if you dont. The craziest thing is I went up there and Sunny tried to explain and draw a picture of how its the driveshaft and my husband asked him plan as day is this going to fix the problem and he said yes. Needless to say since a comment was made about no feeling safe to test drive the vehicle has me questioning if he even tried to diagnose the reason the vehicle was brought in or basically just did whatever they wanted to do to make more money. If he didnt feel safe Sunny should have picked up the phone and communicated that and we wouldve went elsewhere but its funny that it was not mentioned until after they did not fix the problem. Now weve been trying to get in touch with Fred the region manager and of course no luck. Glad I still have contact to some region managers at VW. Now we have to take actions into our own hands. Was going to chop it up as another loss but was told by sooo many people not to. Have someone look into this if they dont dont want to make it right.

Worst experience ever... I was told free towing, I had my car towed 10 a.m, it took them until the next day to diagnose my car, the next day they told me my bill was $898 for towing, diagnosis, starter, and wiring, after being given that redicolous price I told them I was going to come and get my vehicle and have it towed to my shop, I was then told just to come get it prices would be $80 for them towing it up to there shop and $150 for the diagnoses, total $230 to come get my car for absolutely no work done, they offered to wave towing and diagnose fee if I agreed to letting them fix my car, In the end I was charged $698 for a starter and wiring, when I picked my car up my radio was no longer working and I still had the same electrical problems, when I started to put up a fuss about the radio suddenly not working i was rudely interrupted and told we dont fix radios, sign here please, so basically I payed $698 for a starter and wiring that Im not even sure they did, I would never ever ever return to this place or recommend anyone else to go here... Ended up taking my car to a radio shop after I got my car, was told due to them disconnecting my battery and messing with wrong wiring they shorted my radio out, I didnt bother going back up there, my advice to anyone interested in going to this shop..NOOOOOO!

I have been coming here for my oil changes for the past 2 years and have never experienced a problem. However, I made an appointment for my girlfriend at this location and when she had her oil changed, the mechanic left the cap off of her oil, which caused it to spew all over the engine. She called about having her engine cleaned up, and the manager denied responsibility, saying that she could not prove that it was their fault, but they agreed to clean up the engine. Whoever did this failed to notify her that there was absolutely no oil left in her engine, and she drove it to and from work for two weeks while waiting on an appointment at a repair facility. The second facility informed her that her engine was completely ruined as a direct result of these events and told her to contact Autopro regarding this. She did as she was told, but the man she spoke with, who claimed that he was the manager of Auto Pro in Clinton Township, argues with her, refused to accept responsibility, or give her the number for the corporate office. He also refused to give her a name. I will be contacting their corporate office and taking this as far as I need to for this to be made right. Do NOT take your car here. One of their mechanics is an absolute idiot, and their customer service is abominable.

When I called I was told free inspection, when I got there I was told $40. I then received a call asking for another 149 to inspect the front and I told them no I wanted to take my car to the dealer to be sure of what they were claiming, and OMG did I have a hard time getting my car back. I went through 3 people, one over the phone, one at the front desk and another at the front desk trying to convince me to leave my car, they were really pressuring me I felt like I had to convince them to give me my car back. He wanted to know why I needed to go somewhere else when he is telling me what wrong with my car etc he would not take my for an answer. Over the phone I couldnt even get a full price but they kept insisting to start part of the job and they were told no but I honestly think they started to take it apart because they wanted me to wait a few mins to pull my car out and I heard noise I didnt hear previously, I dont understand why I had to wait as long as I did to have my car pulled out when #1 it wasnt busy and #2 they have a guy who does that! Very untrust worthy I definitely wouldnt go back there. Oh and BTW they will make sure they tell you they are rated #1 on the internet to try and convince you!

Took my car in to have break pads, calipers, and rotors replaced and they smashed my wheel caps when they finished up the job while trying to put them back on. They took no responsibility for what happened and told me they could have been damaged in the parking lot and they are not responsible for damage that happened in the parking lot over night. Even though the mechanics are the ones that parked it in parking lot and left it there overnight when they were done with it. The same wheels they worked on are the same ones that had the wheel caps smashed in, "but Im sure they had nothing to do with it". I asked the guy who ran the counter kindly to fix or replace my wheel caps or I would post this review, he refused so here it is. In addition, the brakes they replaced squeaked really bad. I had to take them to the dealership and have them fixed. This happened because the brakes they used were of poor quality. Needless to say, never going back.
