I brought my car in yesterday morning once the shop opened, after it was shaky the night before while driving. I called back multiple times and finally around 5pm was told I needed 2 new tires and 2 new rims to correct the issue, and then probably an alignment to make sure things are right. As soon as Mike, the owner, tells me my SATURN ION needs special rims and no one has any but the dealership, which are $150 a piece and will take THREE DAYS to get, I knew he was full of crap. He proceeded to call me sweetheart and hunny while going over the repairs for 45 minutes. I wanted to call him out on his lies so bad. I went home, found my rims at MULTIPLE places for $59 no problem. Was the first appointment at Discount Tire today and left after 45 minutes, only needing 2 tires. My rims were FINE. NO DAMAGE. This guy is a LIAR and a RIP OFF and will assume any female is stupid. My car now drives perfectly less than $200 later. PS. MIKE! I saw you change the quote printout from $700+ to over $900 when you pretended to notice my tires were priced wrong. I couldnt wait to look at the new total once I got in my car. Of course, it was over $200 higher and had nothing to do with tires. This will be going everywhere. Facebook, Yelp, EVERYWHERE I can warn poor females that you will take advantage of them. I am not a stupid person!

I went here because I needed an alignment and I waited a little bit while they did an inspection, then they told me what needed to be done, and I agreed to their recommended repair (which costed a couple hundred bucks), and once I took it on the road afterward, I noticed that the problem still persisted the same as it always had. So I turned right around and brought it right back in to Auto-Lab and after they looked at the problem a second time, they said: "Well, we just noticed that a prior repairman left on the packaging to a part that he installed, so we can take care of it, but for such and such a price" and I responded with, "Then what the heck was the point of the intial inspection??" The guy was obviously annoyed with me and I agreed to let them do more work because I simply didnt have a choice, and to my LACK of surprise, the problem persisted once again after they were finished with it. I didnt have the time nor the motivation to go back there and argue with them, so I figured Id just write this google review to forewarn others!

Once again the Quality of service amazed me. I took my car in after having my coolant flushed from another shop. After getting home I noticed coolant leaking everywhere. So this morning I brought it to auto lab. Right away Mike (the owner) told me that they would look at it asap. Within 5 minutes, Brian (the mechanic) had diagnosed the problem. The other shop failed to put the hose clamp back on properly. As Brian was tending to my vehicle Mike informed me that they were not going to charge me!! Not only did he spend the better part of an hour making sure that everything was ok...And adding THEIR coolant....but Brian also was able to remove a striped nut from my ignition coil so I could change my last spark plug. Im telling you, if you have any issues with your vehicles...TAKE IT TO AUTO LAB!! These guys know how to treat their customers!! Thanks again fellas!!! so much appreciated!.........................Jimmy

I had new ball joints installed on my truck. The upper left was the unsealed type I drove home (.4 miles) and the seal/boot had slid down exposing the ball joint there was no grove for the seal/boot to snap into or any kind of retention clamp to hold it in place, this well never last. At first I was told there all like that then I showed them the right upper ball joint which is the sealed type. (They must think all of their customers are stupid) Then I was told they would call me and replaced it as soon as they got a new one which never happened. The bottom two had too much grease pumped into them and the seals were blown of the bottom of the ball joint. After a week I fixed it myself. I paid $660.00 for subpar parts and then they tried lying to me. I will never have any more work done at any Auto Lab and well tell everyone I know not to go there.

THE WORST AUTO NON-REPAIR EVER. I would not recommend this shop to anyone! After two solid weeks of promising that our cooling system had been repaired, and multiple car rentals later, $$$$$$, it was in worse condition than when we brought it in. Dont be fooled like we were, Mike the owner of Auto-Lab in Clinton Township is definitely not a mechanic. After a million excuses and being told how many problems he has, including his personal problems with his wife, he totally neglected to take care of our cooling system problem. My wife is now left without a vehicle and we are forced to get another rental car. $$$$$$. I rate the Auto-Lab in Clinton Township Michigan the worst auto repair facility ever.

We just moved into a new neighborhood far from my old mechanic. I found this auto-lab on the yellow pages and was very nervous about going somewhere new & getting ripped off. However I had nothing to worry about here! I brought my car in at 430pm, they called by 540pm to diagnosis it and give me the cost. Then my car was completely ready in 24 hours! I got a large amount of work done ($800.00 worth) and they noticed another problem after quoting me and they went ahead and fixed it for free! Fast, friendly and they even showed me the parts that were replaced and where the problems were. 12 months/12 thousand mile warranty and all Napa parts! They have earned a customer for life!!

Have had Keith, Brian and Ashley help us out for years, Several different cars and trucks, some emergency and proactive type work, and both for personal and company cars. Everything always done fast, correct and with a smile. Costs are the same as other shops so all seems reasonable there. They are good at pointing out things they notice while they change your oil, then listing, quoting, and ranking those things in order of importance so you know what is critical and what can wait if expensive, etc. I have referred others to them and it always went very well also. I can solidly recommend these guys for any repairs.

Have had and sent a few thousand dollars worth of work. They were always good, fair prices, timely. Then Keith...the main mechanic left. Brian is good, but Mike the owner takes on way too much work for 1 guy. Ashley does her best to run the place, but the place has changed tremendously in the last few months. I will NEVER return after they had my vehicle NINE days..only to be given the run around. Coolant looks good, Mike SAID...there wasnt any in it. Did dangerous, faulty battery cable replacement as well. Wont even return for all the work under warranty. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

superb service! From Ashley at the front desk to Brian who did the work. The new owner Mike was also amazing! He took the time to explain in detail not only about the work being done, but also a few other questions i had about issues that had nothing to do with the work i was paying for! The icing on the cake was when he offered for me to bring the car back in when my hub caps come in the mail and they would put them on for me free of charge. This is how u run a business and get recommendations and loyal costumers! Way to go guys! Thx for starting my weekend off right!
