Good Afternoon, As you already know, we are looking into a new daycare provider. The provider we will be moving to has no immediate openings. However, we are priority on their list in the event of a dropout. We have currently signed an agreement to enroll him for the 2016/2017 calendar year. I want to start this by saying we have been completely satisfied with the care provided at the Grand Blanc facility. It is the cooperate level of Rainbow that I am very dissatisfied with. In 2015, I was not willing to keep Sawyer enrolled at the daycare unless the "re-registration" fee was waived and we were credited that money back. It was. This year we were forced to pay it. In my opinion, the fee is bogus. There is no work that justifies the fee involved. Another bogus fee is was the $10 credit card decline fee because the CCs expiration date changed. That was credited back. What really gets me is in this contract during the center of the school year you have the option to "change the pricing". This is bogus! You are nearly forcing the price increase on your current customer and they feel forced or cornered to sign. I understand business very well. I understand the goal of business is to turn profits and there is nothing wrong with that if you do it in a fair and ethical manner. There is nothing ethical about charging the customer when the day care is not even open. There is nothing ethical about charging the customer 1/2 price for a service not being provided during weeks like Christmas break. I would have no issue absorbing that cost if the employees were being paid 50% for that week but I am making the assumption their not. At the end of the day, Rainbow is more about its continued growth and turning profits then it is about its customer or the children attending. At my company, the customer is put at the top of our organization chart. I want to share a word with Rainbow. Authentic. Doing the right thing to do because it is the right thing to do. Operating in the manner has grown my business beyond my imagination. You might think it is about the $10 price increase, but our decision is based solely on the principles of the matter. Our new provider charges a $35 enrollment fee. They have in writing agreed to make this a 1 time fee. They do not charge when you child is not there period. Sick,Christmas,Snow Day, etc. The weekly cost if nearly the same and possibly slightly higher as they charge hourly. This is the letter written to Rainbow. Our final decision is to leave him there until the end of school year unless our new provider has an opening. My rating would be a 5 for the staff. Thank you,

My daughter has attended this center since she was 12 weeks old. Her infant I teachers have been awesome. The teachers are attentive, responsive to each childs personal needs and respect the uniqueness of each child. My favorite teacher is Ms. Amy who is outstanding. You will never find a better teaching and loving care giver. My daughter simply lights us when she sees her. Im very particular about my child and who cares for her. With that said, I would recommend this center to anyone. My daughter is a minority child and seems to blend well with no issues. The director and management team is awesome. Very hands on with all activities occurring in the center.

i just called Rainbow child care to ask about pricing and enrollment in Grand Blanc, the lady said she would call me back and when she did she proceeded to tell me " sorry i had to call you back i just found one of the teachers sleeping on the floor in one of the Pre-K classrooms" then said she had to send her home.. like excuse me??????? no thank you. she needs to be fired, you would think that them having cameras would prevent such incidents. This just confirmed my view of daycares as a whole. thanks but no thanks.

My Daughter (2) is always so excited when its time to go to school. Shes always singing the songs she learned and is always counting things around the house. Im really pleased with how much shes learning. When were on our way to school she tells me all about the friends shes going to see and which teachers she would like to have for the day. It is a wonderful place to send your children to learn while receiving quality care.

So far, my son loves going to school! The teachers encourage him to learn how to use the potty and so far has been successful! The staff and director have been so friendly and really make sure that my son is taken care of and educated! There is no need for me to bring in diapers, wipes and food because it is provided, which makes it much more convenient for me! I love this place and recommend everyone to come check it out!

My daughter has been at Rainbow since she was 6 weeks old. I visited every daycare in the area, and found myself going back to Rainbow 2 or 3 times. I knew it was right when Amy and Mandi told me to come as often as needed before making a decision. The preparedness of the teachers is more than I would have expected. The teachers have compassion and strive for excellence daily. Emma loves her teachers and they love her.

I am thrilled with the care my child gets at rainbow. They are always friendly,to both my husband and myself. They take great care with all the kids, and really seem so interested in their wellbeing. They offer a rich learning environment, not just a baby sitting service. I would recommend it highly to anyone looking for superior child care .

Love this place! My kids feel totally at home. They have learned so much from the teachers and get great interaction with the other students. I feel they are safe and very well cared for. I highly recommend Rainbow to any parent needing daycare.
