I tried Manpower a few months ago, and it seemed good at first, I got a job fairly quickly, within a week I believe, but my assignment was Amway, and the person who said they use you and dump you is absolutely correct, I have always took pride in working hard and efficiently, and this job was no exception, but overall it was pointless, the line operators knew i was a good worker but that doesnt matter, you still wont get hired, people are so used to being treated like crap, that they dont even realize its happening to them anymore. COMPANIES SHOULD ONLY BE ALLOWED TO HAVE 20% OF THEIR EMPLOYEES TEMP WORKERS, I UNDERSTAND THAT THEY HAVE TEMP WORKERS TO PROTECT THE FULL TIME EMPLOYEES, BUT THIS IS RIDICULOUS, AMWAY HAS AROUND 60-75% OF THEIR WORKERS TEMPS, AND COMPANIES LIKE MANPOWER MAKES MILLIONS, OFF OF OUR BLOOD AND SWEAT!!! The capitalism in this country is getting out of control, all of the major companies are looking to find where they can save a dollar here and a dollar there, in order to get their sales up. Companies are hardly even giving raises anymore I dont want a handout, i just want an opportunity at a good job that I deserve, I have 3 years of manager experience, but I cant even find a job to use that experience, and even if i did, I would probably only be making like 9$ an hour. Capitalism, Greed and Outsourcing is starting to make me ashamed im even a part of this country, if things stay the same , they will not get better, they will get much worse. CHECK OUT ANONYMOUS ON YOUTUBE, PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS INJUSTICE IN THIS COUNTRY, AND I GIVE THEM A BIG THUMBS UP!!!!!

I went in and had a response within 2 hours. Michelle is awesome. And works hard to make sure that she finds the best fit for you. She has helped me out a ton. I would reccomend her to anyone. Im glad I stopped by despite all the negative things I heard. Yes, there are a few that are all about buisness and dont seem very friendly but there are ones that are great and work hard for you. But if you if you need work, they will get it for you. You have to be patient and flexiable. Its a temp agency, so that is what you should expect. Some places are temp to hirer but not all. If you dont want temp work dont go there, then complain about it being temp. Just saying. The experience is what you make of it. If you arent patient, flexible and willing to change jobs then dont go here. I personally dont care. If i am working at all thats great. They dont have to find you work they can easily turn you away. People just need to change their attittudes. Ignore the bad reviews and go in for yourself. Request to talk to Michelle and i am sure you will be happy.

If you want to visit what an unorganized operating business looks like, look no further than the Manpower office on Broadmoor! I went it for my two orientations at the time I was scheduled on a Monday, only to be told that the time was incorrect. Great, 0-1. I was then told I could come back in on Wednesday to complete it. I go in on Wednesday, get into my first class of orientation... and all the sudden my user-name and password wont activate. Not a big deal... the individual running the orientation said he would send me the form online to fill out during the afternoon so I could come in the following day and rock out my second orientation. Except he never emailed me the forms, and then I was unable to complete my second orientation the following day. They would constantly say, "Oh, well we dont want you to leave without a job..." when in actuality, their laziness and unwillingness to work with people... makes that statement a complete lie. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere if you want temporary work.

At first, they seemed nice and wanted to help, but the moment, I told them I did not want to work at the place they put me in, it was a complete turn around! Suddenly, she couldnt find me a job anymore. I even called Manpower to see if they had clerical work, they immediately asked me if I had 6 months experience. When I told them, no, they said sorry, but they could no longer help me with my job seeking. They even had the galls to tell me that they couldnt bend the rules to help someone like me to get experience. It was the clients that decided, not them! So NEVER work for them if you have to. There are other work services in the area! TRY THEM INSTEAD!

I have been employed with Manpower for two years now, not always on assignment with them, as I have had other jobs outside of them during that period. Im now trying to apply to AmeriCorps, and I need some specific information from Manpower in order to complete the application. I have been trying to contact them for a good five days now, left at least one message on their phones, and have not heard back from them at all. I have not been able to reach them at all, and my application deadline is fast approaching. I am starting to worry that I may not be able to complete the application on time.

Do not work for Manpower...especially in Ada at Amway, they will not pay you on time and they are very unorganized. I quit because of there epic fail to follow through on what they say I work almost 2 weeks ago and I still have not received my first check, they said because it had to be mailed out, well it must be coming from Another world, because its still not here. So glad this was a part time job for extra vacation money, and I really didnt have to depend on it for my family needs dont work for them there an awful company to work for.

Ive taken many assignments through manpower. Yes theres been one time my check was late but if you get them in the mail that can happen. If you dont want it to then get direct deposit. They will get you work and you need to remember - MOST FACTORY LIFE BLOWS BIG BALLS. Youre not going to find your dream job immediately. You will always start at the grunt stage with most places having the opportunity to work your way up. Dont expect to start in a spot that is completely amazing unless you have a skilled trade under your belt.

If there were 0 stars I would put that. This is a horrifically unethical company that will treat you like an animal and rob for all youre worth. Even after your employment with them they will relentlessly haunt you and ruin your life. This isnt one of those situations where "Theres only bad reviews because no one who has a good experience thinks to put a review." NO. No one has writes good reviews because no one has one. Do not do this to yourself.

Not sure where the bad blood comes from the other reviews; nevertheless, my time with Manpower has been great. They worked with my needs as a new employee getting back into the workforce, communicated well thru varies mediums, and also offered jobs thats paid well while also allowing me to utilized skills I provide. Great company I will continue to recommend and work with.
