My Mother & I have been going to Lakewood Auto for over 20 years & have never been disappointed once. And never did we worry about being taken advantage of being women who knew nothing about automobiles. Jerry is as honest & trustworthy as they come. He will tell you that yes, he can fix something but its not really worth the cost & you dont need it anyway, rather than talk you into something that you dont really need! If you want honest, trustworthy, quality but quick work, and reasonable prices than Lakewood Auto is the business you want & Jerry is the man to see!

They are very kind and good mechanics. They fixed a problem with my starter a year or so ago. My only problem was a few weeks ago I needed new brake pads and rotors, and they were going to charge me up to $600. My boyfriend thought this was high, so I took it somewhere else and had it done for $300. I dont think Ill go again after finding this new place. If youre a young woman-- go somewhere else that wont jerk you around because you look like you dont know what theyre talking about.

I had a problem with my vehicle. Its a 4 banger diesel that has a bad injector. The guys looked it over and decided they couldnt fix it due to programming changes that only the dealer could do. They were extremely helpful and polite. They were the model of the kind of people Id like to be. There was no charge for the diagnosis which I thought was great. Dealing with people is the most important part of any business. These guys get an "A" from me in that department.
