Big mistake! Day one i arrived around 3.40p they claimed they had one person in the back so i waited patiently & i asked guy at counter could i come back tomorrow & set an appt he told me the following day @4p day, Day two i came a little early about 15 mins early i went inside to let the guy know i have 4p appt & im a little early i can wait he goes to tell me the same thing from previous day they told me i have one guy working idc i have other things to do if i set an appointment & u tell me i might have to wait till after 5 when im the only one thats left that needs service besides drop offs ,im there physically & u got one customer leaving...he goes to look in the computer to say some other name at 4p & says idk what the guy did the previous day, he asked to see my confirmation i showed him...thats not my fault i set an appt & showed u proof now i have to wait till after 5 or another 45 mins or so your not sure...really dude on top he was nasty & rude about it, after i went back/forth 5 mins i went outside & left i went to express oil change up the street they werent rude ,more organzied, faster & went above & beyond & gave me a discount i needed something extra done to my car express didnt do but they gave me tips it worked i didnt have to spend it with yall clowns plus discount & i get synthetic oil & i get my fluids filled & then some....it was worth it!!! Never go to this place not all but this one!!!

I made an appointment for an oil change on Saturday April 1 at 1000 am. I guess I forgot it was April fools day because the joke was on me. I arrhived at 9:45. When I went to "check-In" I was "greeted" by a woman that looked at me like I was the devil incarnate. When I told her of my appt she said "I got 4 in front of you". When I asked about my appointment she said "that internet dont know nuthin" [sic]. Then she said "it will be a while before we can get to it". When I asked her - actually politely - if she could give me some idea as to what a while would consist of, she said "you just need to leave it". When I informed her I was alone, she says...12:00 0clock. So I asked, "If I come back at 12 will I have to wait behind others or is that a time I can come back and get it done. So I am sure - you not being the April Fools joke - you know the end of the story. When I went back at 12 there were only 2-people ahead of me; not counting the one in the bay. So what do I rate this store. Minus 10. Good luck if you choose to go here. For sure, dont make it on April Fools Day.

I just had a really creepy experience at Pep Boys on Malcolm Drive in Montgomery Al. We went there to have our brakes looked at and there were workers milling around, totally making a show of ignoring us. Not a single hello. So we went into the store and waited for a few minutes for a costumer service rep, who finally walked in and did not even acknowledge us (my husband loudly said hello). He finally finished what he was doing rudely asked what we wanted....the whole time refusing to make eye contact. Creeeeepy! Yes, we left!! And I will probably avoid Pep Boys forever more. We went to Express Lube instead and they sure know how to treat costumers!

If I could give more stars I would. The manager and employees went above and beyond to help us get my vehicle fixed as we were on our way to panama city beach for vacation when my drive shaft fell apart. They knew immediately what was wrong and fixed fixed the problem in less than 10 minutes. The nice man didnt even charge us which was a huge blessing since we were on such a tight budget for vacation anyways that this small vehicle problem could have easily depleted our vacation funds and in the end, ruined our whole vacation. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Took my car in the store to get my oil changed and tires rotated.They were courteous and prompt.When I was leaving,I started my car and the "change engine oil "light came on.Went back inside,Spoke to the associate who did my oil change.He stated he tried 3 times to reset it.But couldnt get it to reset.Told me not to worry about it,yo just go by the mileage.Took my car to the dealership.Told them my problem.It was reset in less than 2 minutes.Light has not come on since.No more Pep Boys for me !

Made an appointment to change engine oil, went there counter said engine oil ran out. Okay the following week made a second appointment she says mine not in the system. They dont check inventory and ran out they need to make a call to customers... Why they ask phone numbers then if they are going to make customers come all the way in the morning for nothing. This time no apology or any efforts to make up. This location something gotta change!!!!!

Very bad experience. I went there for a problem with my A/C and the guy just handed me a diagnostic price without even going out to look at the car first. I understand that you have to run a diagnostic and all before telling me whats wrong, but atleast look at what I am talking about. He was very rude, unprofessional and didnt seem to care much about what the customer is concerned about. I will never go back to this place. Absolutely hated it.

Went in on a Friday and they told me they would have my tires there on Saturday. They called me Saturday and said it would be Monday or Tuesday. I called Tuesday and they said probably Wednesday. Its Wednesday and still not here. Im going out of town and had to scramble and find a place with tires in stock. Paid a little more but better service.

THE WORST PEP BOYS EVER. I would give them 0 star if i could. They always try to make you fix stuff that you dont even need to fix, and always try to hustle you. The managers there are VERY rude and dont know ANYTHING about cars. Please avoid going to this Pep Boys.

The manager should not be a manager, his people skills are horrible. The mechanic was good & explained the repairs. If we had a choice we would have left. Not friendly at all.
