I thought it was a great place. I had been there for a repair on a different car and the price was fair. But my recent visit, I went in for a problem I was having with my door not opening from the outside but would open from the inside the vehicle. No new parts were needed for the repair because apparently the latch wasnt pulling a cable, therefore making the door unable to open from the outside. They reattached the cable and made sure it wouldnt happen again. My bill? Nearly $200. ($168 to be exact). I thought that was way too much for taking a door panel off and doing the job that was done. I love their honesty for telling me I didnt need any new parts for my car and was generous enough to check my oil, battery, ect. But really? $168 for labor seems really steep for that kind of job.

These words come to mind when thinking about Maplewood Auto. HONEST: I trust what they tell me. They let me know what needs to be done now, and what can wait a little longer to help the wallet. I used to double check their quotes/estimates but it was a waste of time. Theyre very upfront. COMMUNICATIVE: They call and let you know whats happening each step of the way if you ask them to. They give you accurate estimates and let you know when you can expect to have your car back. FRIENDLY: The staff are all incredibly kind. They have selected their front desk personnel with the same care they select their mechanics and I always feel comfortable asking questions. Do note--theyre very busy due to the great business they run, so plan ahead when possible!

Hands down the best auto repair shop in the area. We have a large family with four vehicles (all with 100K+ miles on them). We rely on the team at Maplewood Auto to ensure our vehicles remain reliable and safe year round. I cannot say enough about the great service we receive from the Maplewood Auto team. Definitely a business with a high degree of integrity and care for their customers. The service is always prompt and the prices are always fair. I had an appointment and was 2 hours late. Oh, how I was surprised when they said "No problem. Just leave the car and well take care of it." I told them I had to wait for the service because I had a lot to do that day and needed the car. Again "No problem". Less than an hour later and I was on my way. Thank You Maplewood Auto
