There were a lot of things I appreciated about my last visit. (1) Communication. I received multiple text messages regarding the status of my vehicle. First, I received a text with two photos of my vehicle showing previously unknown issues with transmission; second, a text requested a call back due to the problem found and provided the phone number for easy access; finally, I received a text letting me know when someone began servicing my vehicle after I called back. (2) Shuttle. I was meeting a friend for coffee that day, and it would have been especially awkward trying to meet up with him without the shuttle service. (3) In-shop experience. I love that you guys offer drinks to people in your store whenever they come in. There isnt much financial value for that kind of service, but what it shows is a customer-oriented business, and that specific aspect holds enormous value. I was at the shop twice in one day and was offered a drink both times and am sure I could have requested an additional drink either of the times I waited in-shop. (4) Friendliness. Customer service can be really hard sometimes; I know that from experience on both ends of the customer service transaction. I love the friendliness that has been consistently shown to me and my family at your shop. (5) Follow-up cards. Both times Ive been to your shop, I have received a card in the mail thanking me for stopping in, most recently including a gift card and referral card. This offers both monetary value for me and solidifies my positive impression of your customer service. (6) Cost. I think the price of your services is excellent. Although I dont think you charge any more than other automotive shops in the Holland area (perhaps even less), I would personally be willing to pay more for the kind of service you guys provide. You consider customers highly, and I encourage you to keep that up! (7) Student discount. As a Bible college student, I have intentionally chosen not to take out loans to pay for college, since I dont want to carry any debt. This means, however, that it takes time to pay for college. Receiving a discount simply for attending a Bible college is helpful and appreciated. I have already begun to tell others about my appreciation for your shop and plan to come back again. Thank you!

I have been to CBA at least 5 or 6 times. The reason I go back is that they are very friendly, efficient and make me feel comfortable being there. They are very professional and I love that they will do a routine inspection just to check that things look good under my vehicle. Twice they found a problem that likely would have had me on the side of the road needing a tow truck and were able to solve the problem, got the parts quickly, installed and on my way again with no break down. The last time I went in for an oil change, I did not mention that my "check tire pressure" light was on, partly to see if they found it (my tires did not appear low). What they did find was that there was a screw embedded in my tire that had given me a slow leak. They fixed it immediately for free! I had to travel 3 hours the next day and was so thankful that I didnt end up on the side of the road with a flat tire. Their waiting room is very clean and comfortable, nice music and snacks make it a comfy place to wait...its more like a doctors office than a car-repair shop. Their customer service is great, such nice people and they always tell me whats happening with my vehicle and even though sometimes I dont really know what theyre talking about, they always explain it in a very professional way. Highly recommend CBA! I will for sure be back.

We needed an engine replacement vs head gasket replacement on our BMW. I cant even express how happy I am with everyone and their work. I can be very picky at times, especially when it comes to my cars. From the beginning Rich was so helpful and nice, explaining everything and giving me all the options without any kind of pressure. He put together a solution for us that worked perfectly. Dan is a master with mechanics, knows his imports, and worked with Rich to show us what needed to be done and what could wait if we wanted to. Dave is extremely nice and genuinely wants to make you happy however he can. A perfect way to run a business. Amanda is sweet and helpful with the business end of things. Everyone was beyond pleasant. They offered snacks and drinks, and have an exceptionally clean and pleasant waiting area. Im not completely uninformed when it comes to cars, or even with working in a garage or running a business. I can absolutely vouch for these guys. Their business model and ethical practices are what every business should strive for. They are now our go-to for all of our automotive needs. Thank you for treating us so well!

Wasted a lot of money here. First, they charged me $100 to even look at my car. Told me that I needed an intake gasket, so I had them replace it - $900. Then my car still ran like crap. Brought it back (like a week later may I add), and they told me my engine was bad and I basically wasted my money. So I decided to give them another chance, had them replace my engine - $2400. Not even a week later my low oil light came on, 2 quarts low. Oil was spewing out of the pressure sensor (they used my old one instead of the new one, which they shouldnt have done). Got that fixed, but now my car is leaking coolant on the engine. I looked at it and it was right by the intake gasket, fantastic! To make it even better they told me my warranty is voided because "you could have overheated your engine" and they wont even look at my car unless I give them $100. If they cant look under my hood for 2 seconds and see a pool of coolant on my engine, thats pretty sad. Some great service if you ask me, just great.

Very nice place with reasonable prices and great people. My previous mechanic is too far to practically go there every time I need service. I used him because he had reasonable prices, good service, and just overall was accommodating and caring. I think I have found someone here in Holland who can provide the same for me now that I have tried Christian Brothers. They have a small but nice waiting room with fresh fruit. The whole place was very clean and well kept. I had to leave my vehicle overnight because of a part that needed to come in the next day. They gave me a ride so I didnt have to miss a doctors appointment that evening. All of the staff were friendly and both owners (husband and wife) were on site. It is great seeing owners that are involved and not absentee, knowing that you can get answers from the top if you need them. I can definitely recommend Christian Brothers as a place to get your car serviced after my experiences with them so far.

I will definitely recommend Christian Brothers Automotive to my friends and whoever that I meet that will need car repairs. In fact, Ive already recommended them to my colleagues at work.They did a pretty good job with all my cars and when something was a wrong after a few days they asked me to go back for them to take a look at it and they did a pretty good too. Ive been to quite a few car repair shops (about 3 shops) here in Holland and they are better than them. Aside from the good service, they listen out to you on what you suspect is/are the problem(s) of your car and then they explain to you after they investigate whats the issue(s) in clear laymans language so that you understand whats going on. Then, I like the follow up call to get feedback if they did a good job on the car repair. I definitely recommend them to anyone that needs car repairs!
