Originally I thought their customer service and employees were awesome. I even rated it a five. Their manager James assisted me over the phone and in person. I live in the downtown area and was relieved it was within walking distance of my residence. I was worried whether or not everything would be covered by my extended vehicle warranty. James was professional, knew my companys procedures, was on top of everything and even went out of his way to fix minor issues. Everything was covered with no out of pocket expenses. My transaction was a flawless and quite a stress free experience. I originally thought I would definitely use their services again. Then I continued to have problems with my repair afterwards. The new manager Dave personally dropped me off in my vehicle. However he was less professional, did not use any turn signals and hitted on me all the while having a promotional "Ladies week." Overall I have dealt with them ordering the wrong part twice, giving me back my vehicle with windows non-operational and stuck in the down position, they caused more damage than fixed. Scratched tint, broken trim...both windows off track. It has been a nightmare. I filed a complaint. Now I am extrememly indifferent and disgusted. It has been a nightmare BUT they are determined to fix the issues. Extended Warranty will not let me take it anywhere else since they were paid in full. Midas will not let me take it somewhere else since they are willing to fix it. Six months from the original visit, four visits and two telephone conversations with the store owners, the manager is personally picking up my vehicle to another Midas location. There comes a point where the customer SHOULD have a right to take it somewhere else and have them pick up the bill. I will NEVER to use their services again. My patience have dried out. I am more upset they overlooked the small things that were not right and returned it...multiple times

I brought my car in for some basic service (tune-up, oil, etc.), over the course of the next week that they had my car I was promised 4 different delivery dates and ended up spending $2400. But thats not really where they acted unprofessionally. Everyday I was promised that they would call and give me an update, and every day I had to either call them or stop in their shop (usually around closing) before they would tell me anything. Every time I called or stopped by they had found some new problem or hand some new person (usually a supplier) to blame for why they didnt have my vehicle ready. One time I called in the afternoon and they hadnt bothered to work on it all day because they were waiting for me to approve some new work! When it was found that some of the work might be covered by a Midas warranty, I asked them to bring me the contents of my glove box or to be allowed in my car so that I could search for the recorded, they refused only to go through it themselves the next day (I learned about this when I called them up). Amazingly, they found that the glove box didnt contain the relevant paperwork. To make matters worse, despite my having presented some coupons for the work (which were taken from me to "keep with the paperwork") the discounts would only get applied after the fact when I questioned their being missing ("I forogt" I was told one more than one occasion). Also at one point they seemed to have lost the coupons.

I took my vehicle to Midas at 1210 North Illinois St. on 05/16/2017 at 4:40. I was having an issue with my air conditioning system. I was dealing with a lady that told me the price to fix my a/c was going to be $142.81 and the repair was guaranteed for 90 days. On 06/01/2017, I took my vehicle back due to the a/c blowing hot air. I was informed that Midas has changed over their staff and the person that I talked to was no longer with Midas. I left my car there and left. The next day I talked to a gentleman name Tom. He informed that the new price for the repair was $580.60. After thinking about it I stated that I was going to pass on the repair. However, there was the matter of $142.81, that I was told was guaranteed. Tom stated that I was out that amount of money. I believe that given the facts that this Midas is dishonest. I would not recommend using this Midas for any repairs. I will be contacting the BBB to get some resolution. This is very poor service in my opinion.

My car started shaking uncontrollably on the highway, so I limped it to a gas station and tried to find a mechanic at 3pm on a Saturday of Memorial Day weekend - race weekend. I called Tom (the Manager), and made sure he had a technician to look at my car, then limped my car over there. On arrival and inspection, they found that my calipers had locked up on my drivers side and needed replaced! He first warned me he may not be able to get it fixed that day, and to make a Plan B. My husband and I were down in Indy for the 500 from Fort Wayne, leaving tomorrow to go home. While I was on the phone with the rental place, Tom explains that he and the tech are going to stay and fix my car today so I dont have to rent, Uber, come back on Tuesday, etc. They got my car fixed, everything is great, and Im on my way!! Highly recommend!!

Sucks balls, but the place will change your oil. Theyll tell you your car is all messed up when it may or may not be. Its not like theyre going to show you whats wrong with your car so you can see it and know. They told my girlfriend her serpentine alternator belt needs to be replaced and she has a "massive oil leak." They told me my shocks were leaking fluid. Both cars have been working *just fine* for a long time. It feels like they check random boxes in the sheet they hand to you containing their visual inspection data. There were a lot of question marks in the comments. I left the paper in my girlfriends car, so I cant give you a picture, or I would. I dont really know whether they changed my oil, but they get three stars for probably having changed my oil.

Unprofessional tactics used to rip their customers off. I took my car my a free brake check and recieved a $500 estimate to completely replace the rear brakes. I was even warned by their mechanic that I it was his profressional judgement that driving on the brakes in their condition would not be recommended. Needless to say I wanted to have a second opinion done elsewhere. However, because they had broken the hardware in the process of the free inspection I needed to buy new hardware. Kicker is they didnt even have the necessary hardware in-stock. On second opinion there was no need to replace the brakes and I saved myself over 80% on the repair costs. Stay away from this Midas, and in my opinion anywhere that has a Midas logo outside it.

I made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation on-line the day before for 11am. I got there at 10:45 and stood there and waited unti 11:05 while the guy in front of me debated his charges. When he finally got things paid for the guy waiting on me said he didnt have me on the list for appointments. Great. They got me in for an oil change and tire rotation anyway. When I picked it up I hopped in the car and drove back to work and when I got out I looked at my tires only to notice that they hadnt rotated them. I had marked all my tires with chalk prior to dropping it off. Ill be calling back in the morning. Theyve lost my trust for sure. Who knows if they even changed my oil. Wont be going back.
