I have been to several performances of The Farrell Ballet Company and I just had to comment my impression of these wonderful stage performances by local artist. I have been to many national and international perfomances and The Farrell Ballet Company ranks up in the top along with well known internationally companies. I am amazed by quality of the choreography and hard work that go into these flawless pieces of art. The main ballerina, Amy, has such beautiful poses and clearly shows tremendous amount of effortless flexability! The expressions on her face allows even the youngest attendee follow along with the performance....BRAVO!!!

I really enjoy watching shows that Farrell Ballet creates -- especially when its an original production. For example, one year they did a performance that was based on a true story about their lead dance instructor, and her time in Paris, France. This group is unique because they have young students who are learning the arts, and older students who excel in dance. The organization is unique because they do a great job of working with people of all different ages with different levels of dance experience. And they bring them together for shows a couple times a year that exemplify the culture of the studio.

My family has been to several performances put on by Farrell Ballet Theatre over their past 25 years. The first performance we attended we assumed they were professional by the high level of technigue and ability to mesmerize the audience. We have seen them perform classics as well as original works - my entire family has enjoyed the concerts. The talent is a culmination of the dancers dedication and the expertise of the Artist Director, Sher M Farrell. We are planning on our next trip to Kalamazoo to include a show from Farrell Ballet Theatre!

Last June I saw Farrell Ballet Theatres performance of La Sylphide. I was expecting to see just dancing but was pleasantly surprised to see acting and emotions telling the story of this beautiful ballet. It was captivating and kept me fully engaged through out the performance. I was impressed by this talented ballet company. I will be sure to attend future performances by Farrell Ballet Theatre.
