Ive been taking my child to this company for a year now, I thought as a start was okay, I was hoping as we continue to grow with them, we would see more improvement and more professionalism, this is not the case. The classes my daughter is in continues taking new students and the disruptions are ridiculous! The dance instructor has to teach the routine to new students seems like every other week, there is a complete mismatch of age groups; you have 6, 7, 8 and 12, 14 year old together. I fear this year recital will be a patched up mess of girls who are recently new inexperience girls with students who have the routine down since last year, very messy! I am seriously looking at changing companies and looking for one that has their act together, a company that wants their students to thrive and learn at a professional level not a place to just drop your kid and let them loose to do what they please with no regard for instruction. Some parents drop their kids here and the kids don’t even want to dance! I am disappointed to see the dance instructor yelling at some trying to make them interested in dancing. Parents please if you are not taking dance seriously do not bring your child in; they make the others who want to learn miserable and a waste of my money!!! I am looking for a professional company that gives my child the learning edge she needs to become a professional, this company is more of a daycare to have fun in not to learn to achieve or dance at a professional level. There is potential, but things need to change big for us to stay with this company. I’ll take my chances at PCDA!

My 4 yr old daughter has just finished her 1st year of dance at ADPA. My daughter truly enjoyed this year & I was glad that our time spent at the studio was with such a friendly group of people! The director & teachers love our "babies" and they work very hard to make the experience fun all while teaching the kids to dance. We didnt have any problems through the winter recital, photos, costumes or the spring recital... I have to say I found the studio to be very organized in these matters, which I know can easily be chaotic. I think the most important thing to me is the level of class in this studio- I believe in teaching our kids to be competitive & to work hard, but also to enjoy the art of dance- which I feel is definitely taught here. I also appreciate that the staff does not allow skimpy costumes or leotards- they encourage age-appropriate attire. We, as parents, often laughed about the "Dance Moms" show on TV... and we all agreed that we were glad to have great camaraderie as we waited together through the classes. It was a real treat to watch my daughter & her classmates grow as little dancers! My daughter is now taking some summer classes- a chance to try something new- and we are looking forward to many more years of dancing with Ms. Angie & her staff! I recommend this studio to everyone who asks me where my daughter dances!

My daughter has been a dancer at Academy of Dance and Performing arts for 2 years. We love it. They provide a great environment for kids to learn and perfect their skills as dancers. Im so impressed with the improvement my daughter has made during her time there. She was previously with another studio whose choreography was a little too inappropriate for young children. This year we traveled with the Dazzler dance team. That was such an increadible experience for my daughter. The group of ladies who instruct and coach these young girls daily are amazing people. Their time, dedication and patience each child is increadible. This years recital was the best we have been a part of. I really couldnt ask for better place for my daughter to learn.

My children have a blast learning here. It is strict in the sense that they learn technique, but fun so that they enjoy going to class. My 4 yr old takes 3 classes and wants to do more. Overall it is a wonderful family environment that puts the children first, but places high importance in dance.

This past year has been my daughters first time dancing. With her being four we have had our ups and downs with trying something new. However, Angie has been so pleasant and flexible!!! We appreciate all of the suggestions and help we have received.
