We just left Pee Wee Patch after 3 years. We enjoyed the first three years, including and especially the teaching of Kristi Spear (mentioned in another review). However, the new director has changed everything. We really liked the choice of High Scope or Montessori preschool education, and we chose Montessori. The new director caused so much friction with the staff that Kristi resigned, and the Montessori program is GONE! The Director claims they can still have a Montessori program even though they do not have a Montessori teacher and do not intend to hire one. Instead, they hired a preschool teacher (not sure shes certified?) who disagrees with the Montessori method and stated that she does not use any of the Montessori "works" unless she knows the proper method. Since she is not trained in the Montessori method, the works mostly just sit on the shelves and look nice. We were told that we should not worry about our childs education because he is smart and will probably be bored in kindergarten anyway.

We just love the Pee Wee Patch. Our son started in the infant room when he was 3 months old. He was a colicky baby who liked to be held all of the time. He would not take a bottle (he is breastfed) and had trouble napping in his crib so we were very nervous about sending him to daycare. Within a week, he was taking his bottles, napping in a crib, and in such a better mood since there was so much activity for him to watch all day. Now he is 6 months old and he gets the biggest smile when he realizes where he is, which makes dropping him off a lot easier. Ms. Ashlee is such a great teacher and we can tell she truly cares about our son. She does not make me feel like a crazy first time mom when I email her throughout the day and is able to give me advice when I have random parenting questions. We would highly recommend the Pee Wee Patch.

I am a 26 year old single mom of a 21/2 year old. Kristi Spears is a new teacher there and evan followed her over to pee wee patch... All I am going to say is he has been with Kristi as of Feb 19 2010 His 2nd birthday! My son Knows all his colors and counts to 10. If you dump the cup out its empty if u fill it up its full...Knows whats the same and Dif. The list goes on... The facility its self is beautiful. I will say it is high for my budget but they worked with me and the state pays for part of it. They are very flexiable about the Finacial part of it!! I can truly say Kristi Rocks my son loves school and I love picking him up and hearing what he has learned. He all ready is testing out high then his age!

I wanted to take a moment to tell you how extremely happy and thankful we are that Elsa had our daughter this year. She is a true teacher and the amount of growth the our daughter has shown is tremendous. I also appreciated the techniques that you pointed that we can use to help reinforce what she is learning at home. She is our first child so I do not really have a benchmark but I feel that learned topics beyond preschool and she is practically ready to read. I have expressed my sincere gratitude to Elsa directly but wanted to make everyone aware of the outstanding job that she has done this year. She impressed me with the results that we have witnessed firsthand.

I cannot say enough good things about this daycare. My son was really behind socially and after a year under their direction he has blossomed. He has improved his speech as well as comprehension and social skills. It is really amazing how much his social skills have improved. I feel very confident about him transitioning into kindergarten this fall. Sending him to this daycare was one of the best decision s that we made. The teachers and the staff are top notch and the facility is excellent.

This use to be a great place, but in the last few months it has gone down hill, and become totally unprofessional. I have heard the new director screaming at staff in the front lobby. Most of these good reviews were about the great Montessori program, but the 2 great teachers they had, were yelled at and screamed at, so they left. Now the Montessori program is shut down. If you want a good program go somewhere else.

My daughter has been enrolled here for several months now and she has grown leaps and bounds since switching from her previous day care. She is with Miss Andrea, Miss Melba, and Mr. Rocco and I am so thrilled with the care she receives. And I know she loves it as much as I do, because of how happy she is both when I drop her off and again when I pick her up <3 Love it here!

I have a child that has special needs and Pee Wee Patch helped me go through the process of all the evaluations to get my child the help he needed. I can not say enough good things about Pee Wee Patch. The director has been a great support and help to my family during this difficult transition. I will always be grateful and Pee Wee Patch truly is the best of the best.

I have been very impressed with everything about Pee Wee Patch. The building security system is great, no one who is not supposed to be in the building will get in the building. The teachers are friendly and my daughter really likes them. She cant wait to get to school, and it is hard to get her to leave. Plus they offer both Montessori and High Scope Curriculum.

When my son was in the Montessori program we were extremely thrilled. Now that hes in the summer age program we still have no complaints, he is having a blast.
