DO NOT GO WITH TROST. Horrible Customer service and unwilling to help. Purchased a new home in December that had the Trost system already installed. Apparently they offer a 90 day warranty which is funny because I cannot test the sprinkler system in 3 feet of snow and 10 degrees outside. Went to turn on the system and one sprinkler head leaks. Called about warranty and they said buyer offers 90 days. Funny how I work for a company that we have to cover the 1 year warranty even though we do not make the product. When I talked to the gem of a lady at Trost she said sprinkler was damaged. I asked how it could be damaged when no one has looked at it. She stayed quiet. Then she said she could send someone out but it would cost me money. Nice way to keep your customers. I then asked to speak to someone higher and she said they were busy. The first person a customer talks to and this is how Im treated. I find it funny that someone from Trost commented saying its the builders warranty and he does not stand by his product. How can you pass the buck on your own product. I have a small leak in the screw part of the sprinkler head and they are unwilling to help out. I will laugh if someone from Trost responds with a generic "its the builder who sets the warranty" How about standing by your product. I can see why this company has so many problems because if they are unwilling to help the customer, they can just do a horrible job because once the job is complete, they have their money.

Terrible. DO NOT use this company. They left my basement leaking from bad install job on sprinkler and then they refused to service my account when we called due to a SECOND leak. Told me we were a no service account. Not professional at all. Could not care less about the customer, only concerned with collecting their fees, which we paid on demand. They dont even bill you, they send someone to pick up the check...probably because they know something is going to go wrong soon. Dont use them!!!!!!!!!!

Scheduled to have a rain sensor and system started up for the season. Took the day off of work and waited the time that they scheduled to be here. I called 1/2 hour later and they told me that due to the weather they would not be coming out today. There was only a light rain. 5/28/14. A call sometime during the time allotted would have been better than me having to call. I have switched to another company. We will see if they give better customer service.

Trost installs irrigation systems for all of my projects. They are on job site within days of notification. Wouldnt hire anyone else. They treat NJDeDecker landscape right and will treat everyone else right.

They are fine until you have a problem that needs fixing. The company doesnt return phone calls and will pass the buck when it comes time to "warranty" their work

Called them to winterize my lawn sprinkler system. Previous owners of my home had Trost install the system and it works just fine.
