Randstad is a great company if you are really interested in working. You have to seriously want the work and theyll get you the work. I was placed on an assignment and was injured. I was then placed on light duty ,no standing, so I ended up at the office in Livonia in Laurel Park. There is NO OTHER staffing agency that will cover you like they will. They are a great bunch of people. I have a total new respect for their jobs, because they go through so much trying to place people thats really wanting to work, and instead , getting the people thats not serious about it. The environment is positive, and from Joe (when hes at the office and not at the other), Kara, Melissa, Anna, and Sara , youre sure to have good laughs and a learning experience if nothing else. I gotta take my hat off to them. They are a great company to work for, and work with. Its a pleasure and a blessing to have come across them. Anything negative about this place is pure BS and you shouldnt feed in to it, because more than likely if it didnt work out for you, its something you did. #facts

The worker Stephanie was really rude and disrespectful to me. I was told to be at the job at 8:30am to 5:00pm they called me back and told me be at the job at 8:00am. So arrived on time than was told i get off at 3:30 pm and i didnt even start work until 8:40am because i had to wait on the hiring manager. So i sat i a chiar for almost an hour confuse on when i start work. When i finally thought i was gone start working they really did have nothing for me to do and when they did find me something to do they exspected me to lift 50 pounds for eight hours everyday i am a female that weights 120 pounds i explain to them i cant lift 50 pounds and i was not informed on that Stephanie calls me yelling and telling me to deal with it or i am banned from their company since they sent me on the assignment already. I said i cant do it and she banned me for not being able to lift 50 pounds even when i explain to her i was not informed on that i had to lift anything especially 50 pounds.

I can say through my experience that this company is a bunch of liars. I recently went through this agency and left on good terms with one assignment, the next assignment I had I left due to work related stress but they put me down as attendance issues. They told me I wasnt able to go through that company no more but was still able to go through Randstad. A few months went by and now they are saying I cant work with the company period because of one little note in the system. I found this to be unfair because they told me to call weekly to see about job opportunities now they are saying I cant work because an attendance issue? Complete and utter bullcrap dont waste your time with these people, other agencies that are way better to be honest.

After I went to a pre-screen interview they asked me for my ID, SS card- everything required for employment. But I happened to pull out my Blu Cigarette pack and apparently that was enough to be disqualified from employment. Their reason was that companies dont hire cigarette smokers due to high insurance premiums. WOW. That says a lot about the type of superficial qualities they look for at this place. I never got any leads simply because of an e-cig? Stay away.

This Ransatd office is the truth! Love Melissa and Marc! One job didnt work out with a lot of back and forth and unfairness (thinking about suing the company) after 6 months and they placed me to another assignment very swiftly. I was worried due to it being the holidays and having a preschooler. If you guys ever see this I appreciate all that youve done for me and my little man! :) Be blessed!

Other users have noted that they do not help you get employment. I have put about a dozen various applications in for employment, and I have not even gotten a call or email stating I was turned down. Stay away from this company.

Not impressed with company. The lady on the phone there dont know her name because she answers Randstad, was not professional nor didnt know what the hell she was doing. Dont know how this place stays alive.

Both my wife and I have been hired by two seperate compaines in the Grand Rapids, Mi area thorough randstad, both fulll time with benifits. Couldnt be Happier with the experince.
