On June 27, 2017, Katlyn from Express Employment Professionals on Airport Hwy in Toledo Ohio contacted me for employment. I went into the office did all necessary paperwork, drug test, and accepted the position. On July 2, 2017, I was taken to ER due to complications with my heart at which time I was admitted. There were a lot of procedures being ran on me, and I was given pain medication which caused me to fall asleep. My fiancé called Express Employment Professionals, and left a message for Katlyn that I was admitted in the hospital due to abnormal complications with my heart, that she was calling on my behalf as I was unable to call, and left her a detailed message with a number to return the call. My fiancé called Katlyn on July 3, 2017 at 1:00 am as soon as she could to let her know i was not going to be able to make it to work that day at 7:30 am, and let her know that we were hopeful I would be released on July 3rd later in the day, but due to the extensive tests being ran it was uncler what time or when i would be out that she would have me contact her Monday to update her. Monday, July 3rd while I was taken from my room given radiation, and doing stress tests in the Progressive Care Unit, the step above ICU, Katlyn text my phone requesting I calll her right away. My fiance had my phone, seen this text so she called Katlyn letting her know I was getting stress tests done. Katlyn ask my fiance if I could talk to her, she told her I was down with doctors having the procedure done and not available to talk. Katlyn told my fiance to have me call her when I was done because its policy she talk to only me, and my fiance said she would. When i returned to my room after the cardiologist left I called Katlyn. Not once did she ask how I was, or care that I was even hospitalized with a heart condition; but instead, she questioned me on when I would be out, if it was going to be July 3rd, and informed me she needed a doctors note. i told her I hoped I would be out that day; however, I had to wait until test results were in, and doctors came up to see me. Katlyn insist I call her by 5:00 Pm before she left; but due to three specialists in my room, being taken out for another test i did not have a chance to call as it was 7:00 pm by the time they were done, and I was informed I would not be released July 3rd. July 4th was a holiday, the evening of the 3rd I had an episode occur which resulted in more tests throughout the day July 4th. On July 5th, Katlyn messaged me saying I neeeded to get the doctors notes to her, not once a few times. Upon my release on July 5th I was not to drive due to the amount of medications I was given, and yet Katlyn would nlt stop harassing me for the hospital notes. Against doctors orders I drove to Express Employment Professionals to take the hospital notes to Katlyn, at that time I was notified my employer decided to end my assignment, she copied my notes said thanks, and assumed I was going to let it go at that. I told her I just got released from the hospital, I drove these notes to her because she persisted I did it that day when she knew the employer ended my assignment I questioned her urgency of need, as well as why she had me bring them in knowing fully well the employer ended my job. Katlyn showed her real unprofessionalism in front of everyone by lashing out on me saying she dont have to look for work for me at all if thats what I wanted, and at that point I told her yes that is exactly what I want to remove me from their system because I do not wish to continue services with such an unprofessional company, that it is not my fault I was admitted into the hospital with heart problems, this is not anything I wished for, and her harassment while being in the hospital was not acceptable. Katlyn had one reply to me; that she would remove me right away from the system, and goodbye. I dont recommend this company to anyone, they are unprofessional, inconsiderate, and care only about themselves! They also have the lowest pay jobs in Toledo vacinity, & you wait weeks before getting called!

Do not go here! The lady "interviewing" me (not sure of her name she never introduced herself, heavy set with light brown hair) was rude as could possibly be. Interrupted every question I had to ask and even refused to shake my hand after the interview. Told me theyd call after an employment verification the next day. Called daily for a week and finally the told me they hadnt even had me in the system. Would never work for a garbage place such as this! Went to Renhill and got a job the same day!!!

Everyone in the office is friendly and very welcoming. Courtney Watson does an excellent job finding work for me and the pay is fantastic! I am also kept up-to-date on any changes within the company and you can use a website provided by the company to check the status on past pay stubs. This is a great place to be if you need help looking for a job during this hard time of seeking employment! Good luck everyone:)

Typical temp agency, they are just crowd surfing/ crowdsourcing for applications like all the rest but with a deceitful twist, instead of telling you to come in to fill out an application for a job that may or may not have an opening (like the rest of temp agencys) they will ask you to come in for an "interview" and then tell you there isnt any openings or ask you to call tomorrow and see if there is an opening.

Apply here only if you want to work BS temp jobs. I never even got paid for the work I did. I was told I made an error clocking in or out. Not true!!! So I paid for steel toe boots and worked 8 1/2 hours to walk away with nothing. And they wont even tell you about your possible work until you accept the work offer. I say go through JFS to look for a job, but not through Express.

This company is very rude and disrespectful to me as many times I tried to apply to work for this company. Theyre never return my phone calls, theyre rude, inconsiderate then blocked me for asking for employment. They get a one star by me for their horrible and impractical services

The lady lied to me about a job so she didnt have to hire me! She told me i needed a drivers license to work at a factory job where i didnt have to drive for the company! So i called corporate
