I was directed to this company via a home warranty service. My request was submitted on a Friday evening, appt was set up on Saturday for Tuesday between 12 and 4. At this time I explained I had several young children and that the weather was going to be pretty warm and if there was any way they could come out sooner, at this time I was told no and that I had to wait until Tuesday since the home warranty company didnt submit this as an urgent request. After speaking with my home warranty company they stated they couldnt do anything either so I braced myself for the warm weather with no AC and dealt with a cranky toddler, 7 month old and 5 year old. Tuesday finally came, I left work early to wait only to be called at 3pm stating the service technician was running an hour behind schedule. FINALLY at 6:30 he arrived 2 and a half hours AFTER he was due to come. It was a quick fix maybe 20 minutes max. The only reason I am giving them 2 stars is because the technician was pleasant and helpful when he finally did arrive. Looking on their website they offer fast same day service this is not at all what I experienced!!! The total opposite in fact! They did not take into consideration my family situation and Im not sure if its because I was a third party client, but that shouldnt matter because they are still getting paid for their service! Never again!!!

Scheduled an install for a wireless thermostat, no one asked how many wires I had 4 or 5 from my existing thermostat. So waited all day for appointment technician arrives late. Cannot install, need to come back, will call later today. No call until a week later, will send technician out to fix thermostat at 12 PM. At 3 PM tech shows up and sits in our driveway talking on the phone until 4 PM; note we are waiting to leave. He then proceeds to tell me he needs to work on my furnace to replace the thermostat? Why was I not informed of this, I have remodeling being done in the basement! But no, why would they consider to ask for access to the furnace area? While tech was sitting outside talking on phone we needed to leave and tried to get his attention but he just straight up ignored us. This corporation clearly demonstrates a lack of communication and comprehension of customer service and how to treat other people in general. Avoid.

The technicians had to come out 8 times to attempt to fix the furnace problem. Although they could only diagnose the problem as lacking combustion air, their only solution was to leave the basement window open (November and December). Really? To compound the problem, the office manager, Bob, repeatedly gave me the run around as to why the window needed to be open, citing such excuses as "I need to get in touch with the technician", " I havent spoken with the tech yet". I had to call 9 times in 3 weeks and never received an adequate response. In the end, two messages for Bob were left unreturned. Only when my home warranty company contacted him directly was I informed that Home Services was declining to work on the furnace (because it was in a condo). The lack of professionalism on Bobs part leaves a lot to be desired.

My wife and I decided to open up an in home day care. We needed a furnace inspection from the state and Home Service Corp came out that day and found a faulty heat exchanger. Now being middle of December and freezing out we were very nervous as we had a house full of little ones. Within a few hours we had a brand new furnace installed and a house full of warm kids. Home Service Corp work with me in regards to the financing and I was very happy with the results. With it that close to the Holidays money is very important, and the help and professionalism we recieved was top notch. I would recommend Home Service Corp to anyone looking for a furnace. These guys are great.

American Home Shield uses this company for everything, including furnaces! Took about 5 trips to fix my pool which Im not convinced they actually fixed. Then they show up for my furnace problem, complain the job will "suck" and will take a few guys to work on. They then turned in a report to the warranty company stating it was a humidifier issue, not heater so it isnt covered. (They didnt want handle the job). Yes - it is below zero and I have no heat with a very sick person and senior living in my home. Had to hire my own contractor to fix it and now need to take Am Home to court to recoup my losses!

We have repeatedly used Home Services because of their quality. Over the past 10 years we have had our Central Air Conditioning, furnaces, and water heated replaced. In every sense, their service has been professional and superior. Additionally, we have always asked for bids from two other contractors and have found Home Services to be quite competitive. Additionally, we ask for Home Services via our home warranty company because of their quality for additional services and always found their work superior. I RECOMMEND HOME SERVICES above most other contractors.

I have dealt with HSC for several issues over the past several years. My Home warranty company (Amer. Home Shield - another disaster) keeps using them first even though I told them not to. They come to my house, and NEVER find a problem and I have to call them for a follow up to the visit. I have been waiting to get a problem fixed for over 2 months now "waiting for a part" , and NO ONE has been in contact with me. This company is a discrace to small businesses, as most thrive off of good customer service, HSC is HORRIBLE!

This company has been dispatched to our home twice to fix the same issue. We were scheduled with them through our home warranty company. We were experiencing leaking in our laundry area and a gas pilot on our water heater that would not stay lit. The pilot was fixed, but the leak was a big issue. They incorrectly diagnosed the issue the first time. The second time they came back because the leak was still occurring. On their second visit, the technician left the situation worse than he found it. Do not recommend!

Wonderful Service!!! Had my first experience with these guys not too long ago. Excellent customer service from the start. They were actually early for my appointment (amazing!) and were very courteous throughout. When they found the problem they fixed it very quickly and for a lot less than other companies had quoted me for! Saved me a bundle! Not only that but everyone I dealt with was very pleasant. Will definitely come back and refer my friends and family. Highly recommended!!!

James the tech seemed like a nice and knowledgeable guy. After completing a tune up and light clean to my AC unit he said he would email me a quote for a air duct install and a new turbine vent for my roof. I contacted some lady in the office about a week ago and she said she would have him contact me. Almost two weeks later and no response. As far as Im concerned they didnt finish the job. Im very frustrated as this was a company that was referred to me by a neighbor.
